A Heartfelt Thank You from the Founder
Now that I finally have a moment to sit down and breathe, I want to take a moment to say thank you.
Thank you to the City of Augusta for showing up and supporting the Second Annual Columbia County Health, Fitness, and Wellness Expo. It was an absolute smash—a complete hit! And it would not have happened without you showing up and showing out. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
To my battle buddy, the president of my board, Jamilah Dukes thank you for riding with me. You filled in every gap I couldn’t think of. You were the yin to my yang. You never looked for recognition, only results. This event wouldn’t have happened without you. Thank you for being solid and selfless.
To my family:
• Ryasia Ayona & Ashley – You held down the front desk and kept the crowd flowing. Thank you!
• Rich Beasley(my husband) – You filled in wherever we needed you, even driving the golf cart like a pro. Your support is unmatched.
• Mama Beasley – Thank you for serving as our senior advisor in public relations. Your wisdom is everything.
• Tyrese Beasley– You’ve been showing up consistently for 13 years. Thank you for always being my shoulder.
• Brooklyn Beasley – You’re the cutest little PR rep ever. Thank you for bringing your sunshine.
• Mama Dukes – Thank you for stepping in at the front desk when we needed hands.
• Yanni – Thank you for your steady commitment, voice of reason, and calm energy. You kept us grounded.
To our amazing supporters:
• Piedmont, WellCare & the Department of Public Health – Your support gave us what we needed and more. Special thanks to Piedmont for letting us debut that incredible colon display—it added something extra!
• Dr. Bowman & Dr. Deanna Brown-Thomas – Your heart health expertise made a lasting impact. I hope this is just the beginning of a powerful partnership.
• Natalie Bryant – Thank you for hosting the silent headphone meditation session. People came out of there glowing. It was magical.
• Gracie Fitness – Thank you for bringing the energy.
• Demetrice Johnson– You were our vendor coordinator AND our cat herder. Thank you for stepping in when things got wild.
• Fort Gordon / 442nd Signal Battalion – Your presence and support were deeply appreciated. Thank you for showing up strong.
And again, thank you to the City of Augusta for giving us a home when we didn’t have one. You stepped up, and we’ll never forget it.
To all vendors, volunteers, staff, supporters, and even the critics—thank you. You helped us grow. We’re coming back bigger, better, and stronger next year.
If you attended the Expo and have feedback, please email us at ColumbiaCountyHWFE@gmail.com. We’ll also be sending out a survey soon. We want to hear from you.
Be a blessing. Thank you so much.
With love and gratitude,
The Founder
