You are not defined by your disappointments.
This journey with Jaco’s operation has taught me more than I expected — about patience, about people, and about quiet strength.
I truly believed that those around me wanted to help, and I still believe that — but sometimes, good intentions are met with circumstances beyond control. I understand now that many simply weren’t in a position to assist, even though their hearts were willing.
What’s been harder to understand is the silence from those with the means to make a difference. In a country filled with big names, powerful voices, and people of influence, it’s disheartening how easy it is to look away.
Jaco still needs this operation. We are not there yet, but I won’t stop trying. If you are able to share, support, or simply help spread the word, please know it means the world.
This isn’t just about money — it’s about hope, and about giving someone who means everything to me a real chance.
