Our women's team participate in Panglhabsol celebration Yuksom 2025 at Norbugang though we lost the final it's a game winning or losing is a part of a game moreover it's shows that women's too need some relaxation, chill, need to experience the thrill and learn to live the moment, we would like to take a moment to thanks panglhabsol celebration committee Yuksom for organising a women football. We would also like to thank our MOIC DR BISWAS BASNEET for supporting and encouraging throughout the tournament, we would also like to thank all our senior staff , staff , Dr Chungwan Limboo Dr Beenu S***a LHV madam Bobby Sawaden Limbooni BPM madam kripa chettri , Binita Chhetri Til Bahadur Gurung Buddha sister ( Rani Limboo upporting and encouraging ( mainly) on our lunch , jersey kit , sin guard, football, and last but not the least the public of Yuksom who had been our tremendous supporter , and shown love ... Comprehensive health check-ups, consultations,Screening of NCDs and medication for certain ailments were given
Team consisted of Team Yuksam PHC along with staff from Darap and Rimbi HWC.

*Minister Inagurates India's First Paperless PHC*
A program was held today at Yuksam PHC, where the Hon'ble Minister Tourism &Civil Aviation Shri T T Bhutia, inagurates Yuksam PHC as India's First Paperless PHC. The entire patient experience from Registration, Lab Reports to Prescription are now done entirely online and can be accessed by the public from an app in their phones. This is a significant milestone in healthcare as all patient details are now digitised and stored in the cloud where it can be accessed forever.

The programme was attended by Zilla Adhakshya, Shri D S Limboo, DC Gyalshing Tenzing D Denzongpa, ADC Gylashing Surat Gurung, Principal Director Health, Dr. Bikash Pradhan, CMO Gyalshing Dr. Namgay Bhutia, GM NHPC, Commandant 72nd BN SSB, SDM(HQ) Pulkit, SDM Yuksam CS Limboo, BDO Yuksam SM Limboo Programme Officers Health Department, Panchayat Members and General Public.

The programme was also special as a massive upgradation of 3PHCs of the District(Yuksam, Dentam, Tashiding) was also done by the District Administration in Collaboration with NHPC and Council for Agricultural and Rural Development (CARD) under CSR. Medical equipments worth 15 lakhs were given which will boost the diagnostic and therapeutic capabilities of the PHCs.

Blood donation camp was also held where over 30 people donated blood including the Hon'ble Minister to save lives.

Sepsis with MODS treated at yuksom PHC
46 YO female was brought to the Emergency Department with complaints of Fever, Abdominal pain and vomiting for 3 days. She tested positive for Typhoid Fever and her blood investigations showed severe sepsis with Multiple Organ Dysfunction Syndrome. She was Hypotensive and Dyspneic. She was admitted and managed with I.V Antibiotics, antipyretics and others. Consultation with Medicine Specialist Dr. Miskila S***a was done from DHG. She was discharged on Day 10.
This was an incredible milestone for Yuksam PHC as PHCs are now equipped with all the necessary Tests and Medicines to handle complicated and grave conditions like this.
The staff at Yuksam PHC especially the Nurses have played a pivotal role in this case as well as countless others.

"Ayushman arogya shivir "World population day with NCD screening conducted at topsing village under Yuksam Health and Wellness Centre werein healthy timing for pregnancy, spacing between each child, contraceptive method it's availablity in PHC , briefly highlight about RTI, STI, and NCD screening, importance of early registration of ANC , follow up were discussed.

Assistant DC Gangtok Shri Bhawesh Khyalia, IAS visited Yuksam PHC today along with his wife to better understand the healthcare infrastructure in rural PHCs of Sikkim. He was given a comprehensive tour of the PHC and the detailed presentation of the services offer. He was presented with khadas and a Token of Love. He praised the working and cleanliness of the PHC and assured to take up pressing issues with the higher authorities.

District Hospital Gyalshing
Date: 5th July, 2025

The 1st quarterly District-Level Review Meeting of District Hospital Gyalshing, Gyalshing District, was successfully held today at Yuksam PHC. The meeting was chaired by Dr. Namgay Bhutia, Chief Medical Officer of Gyalshing and Soreng Districts, and was attended by District Nodal Officers, DHEO, DAM, DDM, MCH staffs from District Hospital Gyalshing, Medical Officers, In-charges, BPMs, DEOs, and programme coordinators from Dentam PHC, Tashiding PHC, and Yuksam PHC.

The meeting focused on key components to strengthen healthcare delivery in the district:

1. PHC-wise presentations on the progress of ongoing health programs.
2. Discussion of challenges and successes encountered at the facility level.
3. Strategic planning aimed at improving program outcomes and service efficiency.

The review meeting emphasized transparency, accountability, and teamwork, reaffirming a shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes across Gyalshing District.
