COMMUNITY vs COVID-19

Community Support for easing the lockdown period A key to surviving the invisible epidemic is staying home and minimizing contact with others. That’s what all the experiences are suggesting.

A big part of that is personal responsibility, true. There’s another part though: Resilience.

Resilience, in this context, is meant as the ability to stay at home, the ability to cope with imprisonment. A cornerstone of that is finding things that would keep one’s mind busy and positive (individually in case one is found alone, and collectively if they are with family members). That is why feeding on statistics, graphs, criticism of how the government is failing, and how different sects share different degrees of responsibility in what’s happening won’t do the job.

How we can help, as a community, is contributing in making the time people are spending at home easier a little lighter. To do that, we can offer something informative, constructive, entertaining and overall positive to listen to, watch and do.
