COMMUNITY BUILDING AND SUPPORTING YOU FOR 2025
Hi Everyone - After a lot of reflection and discussion with my life partner, I had to work through the feelings of not openly sharing what I do for clients as a spiritual advisor and mentor. After 8 years of work and the many aspects of spiritual work I have done, I am now comfortable sharing my experiences with all of you.

Many empathic and sensitive humans are seeking information on how to move forward and I have decided that in the new year, I will be more available to this Facebook group on a regular basis. I am going to hold live discussions on important topics affecting those who want to figure out their spiritual path and to answer questions with knowledge, wisdom and perspective.

But - as a community, I want to encourage all of you to share your experiences and to ask questions. The best way we can experience each other and grow is to interact in an emotionally safe space. This is what I would like to offer to those who are NOT looking to cope. But are looking to move forward with resolution.

Often, with a lot of the spiritual advising I do with clients across the country, many are highly sensitive persons and empaths. I am pleased to provide an additional level of guidance, coaching and support with an initiative called HSP Conversations.

We have posted 3 videos and plan on adding at least two each month. We will tackle topics that HSPs may be experiencing, share our personal experiences and challenges and offer how to think through resolving them.

Here is a healing question for everyone. Why do so many self described healers provide short-term coping support and call themselves a healer? To heal is to mitigate, to resolve, etc. Coping by definition is a tool for short-term distraction (some call relief) for something that will continue to recur because coping is not solving. What are your thoughts?

I’m excited to introduce HSP Conversations, an initiative supporting Highly Sensitive Persons (HSPs) in the Brunswick, Maine community and beyond. This endeavor is a collaboration between myself and my partner, Akiyo Kodera, and is a culmination of 10 years of combined experience coaching and advising HSPs, both individually and collaboratively.
Through group and individual coaching and events, we offer a supportive space for HSPs to explore who they are and their challenges, and create their own unique path for change while connecting with like-minded individuals.
What is an HSP? While it often describes someone who has heightened sensory sensitivities, we find that HSPs tend to be caring, deep-thinking individuals who have strong values of kindness, empathy, and being in service to others. A common experience with HSPs is being told they are too sensitive or to toughen up.
We are launching a special 6-week group program for HSPs starting on March 21st (limited to 6 participants). This program is designed to help HSPs identify the root causes of their unique challenges and any blindspots in their understanding of themselves and their relation to others.
Examples of topics we will explore include: family dynamics and relationships, self-judgment and self-doubt, boundary and communication challenges, identity, empowerment, finding fulfillment, being seen and heard, and much more.
