2025 Veterans Fishing Trip - Sponsored by Hope Home Medical Supply and Stigler Primary Care Clinic. This is our annual Striper fishing trip. In past years I opened it up to any Veteran that wanted to go - I got tired of the Vet(s) cancelling the day before, day of or simply not showing up, leaving empty seats on the boat. This year Dorothy Scott and I decided to invite family members only and it was a great decision as I got to take Grand Kids on their first Striper trip and they had a blast. Because of all of the rain we've gotten we had to fish below the dam, on the Red River - below Lake Texoma. I want to thank our guides, Stan (580-564-5648) and JC for putting us on the fish, both were very patient and understanding. Stan had Aaron Scott (Veteran) and his son, my Grandson, Wyatt "Clevon" Scott. He also had Jeremy Scott (Veteran) and his son, my Grandson, Reese "Piecee" Scott and on the first day of fishing they had their little sister, our youngest daughter, Leah "Bug" Scott. She refused to do the 2nd day of fishing - she doesn't have the fishing fever that we do. JC had the 2nd boat with my-self (Veteran) and my Grandson, Caiden "CayDon" Keating, my nephew Jeffery Scott and his son, Dawson "Apu" Scott. We stayed at the West Bay Casino Cabins in Kingston, OK - if you have a large gathering they have 5 bedroom/5 bathroom cabins and give military discounts. The cabins are super nice, stocked with everything you need (except food) and are located a few minutes away from the lake. They give all adults a $25.00 voucher at the Casino - it has a large swimming pool and a nice restaurant. Contact Kim by call or text at 580-564-5142.
