Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps The Colorado Acupuncture Medical Reserve Corps is the first statewide all-acupuncture federally-approved Medical Reserve Corps in the United States.

Who We Are and What We Do:

The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of local groups of volunteers committed to improving the health, safety, and resiliency of their communities. Our volunteers are ICS trained disaster response Licensed Acupuncturists and specialists that mobilize to provide community-style acupuncture treaments for a variety of conditions. Our mission is to provide integrative acupuncture care to evacuees, emergency responders, and others impacted during critical incidents, natural disasters, public health crisis, or non-emergent events. We are available to provide one-hour educational sessions to those in the community wanting to learn more about what we do. Amongst other groups, we have partnered with the Red Cross, Rocky Mountain MRC, Boulder County Sheriff’s Department, Boulder County Mental Health, the Boulder Office of Emergency Management, and Boulder County VOAD.
