This is yoga too. Messy bun, sweatpants with rips, a sweatshirt I wear over & over. Feeling like a million bucks because my SOUL feels calm & free.
It’s always been important to me to show the real side of yoga but lately I’ve been analyzing even deeper about how I show up on social media.
Here’s my current take: Yes, the beautiful pictures are real - it’s ok to be inspired by & proud of showing the beauty of the yoga poses & your progress toward it. AND for every gorg photo I want to share the “meh”, the work, the struggle. I want to follow other yogis that do the same, so I don’t get caught in a loop of yoga perfection/comparison.
Also, for every moment I’m engaged with my phone, I’m losing connection with the present. I am working to be more intentional with my phone time, which leads me to only have time to consume/produce things that I feel really matter 🩷
Here are a few posts that inspired me .mondi
