I have had a few questions about “fertilo” treatment and the gameto trial commencing at Virtus Health’s IVF Australia Clinic in Sydney.

While this novel and experimental approach using stem cell mediated therapy to mature human eggs outside the body is very exciting - it remains highly experimental and is being conducted as a pilot study. We will watch carefully and assess safety data for mothers and babies before this therapy is offered as a part of mainstream IVF practice.
