I'm Claudia, a passionate Holistic Physiotherapist, Pilates and Movement Specialist, and Performance Coach.

London has been both my home and the center of my career for the past 16 years.

However, it was my personal journey through postnatal challenges over the last 5 years that ignited a profound passion for women's health issues.

Motherhood In Motion represents my passion and commitment to helping mothers in restoring strength, function, and confidence in their bodies.

Here are my two incredibly identical pregnancies, two years apart:

📸1: 39 w + 3 with Seb (Spiderman Baby) 💙
📸2: 39 w + 5 with Sofia (Terminator Baby) 💖

I gained below 9kg with both of them and felt great all the way through. And I ll be grateful forever for how LUCKY I have been in so many ways!!

Genetics and Health have played a huge role and made my journey easy. I've trained consistently because I love it and made me feel great and I looked after my nutrition as I always do.

Everyone told me that I would had a smooth childbirth and I would have bounced back because I was very strong. But guess what? IT WASN'T TRUE 😱😱

The Reality HIT arrived! 🤯
Childbirth was traumatic, emotionally and physically. And the RECOVERY WAS HARD. Because it simply is.
I dealt forever with my pelvic floor issue caused by a very ‘eventful’ labour. The second round woke up all the symptoms.

🏋🏻‍♀️ POSTNATAL RECOVERY IS NO JOKES, no matter how fit, healthy, and young you are.
Luck, genetics and support help but it’s still very hard to overcome.

🪄The good news is that there is a SOLUTION and here's my secret sauce:

I just can’t stop saying how beneficial is to include your kids in your workouts!

➡️ WHY IT’S GREAT:

🏋️‍♂️ If you wish, there is no need for extra weights
💪 As your kids grow heavier, you grow stronger
🏃‍♂️ It's the epitome of 'functional training' – training for real-life scenarios.
🤹‍♂️ Improves your ability to handle your little ones during daily activities.
😴 Exercise for you, playtime for them – they'll be ready for a nap afterward!
🚫 Removes the "I have no time" excuse from your workout routine.

➡️ IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS:

🧘‍♀️ Maintain proper form, even with the added fun and distractions.
🚼 Focus on pelvic floor engagement.
🍑 Avoid clenching your glutes unnecessarily.
🤰 Watch out for coning in the abdominal area.
🌬️ And don't forget to breathe correctly throughout your workout!
