Let’s keep it real, some days, motherhood feels sh*tty.
You’re exhausted, overstimulated, and wondering if you’re actually good at this or if you’re just faking it. (Spoiler: We’re all faking it sometimes.)

Society loves to paint moms as either martyrs or superheroes, but what about the messy middle?

The days you have no control, scroll through your phone at 12AM questioning every choice, or cry in the shower because no one tells you how much you’ll doubt yourself.

But here’s the thing no one talks about. Those “what the hell am I even DOING?!” moments? They’re not failure. They’re the cracks where your grit sneaks in.

You’re not weak for feeling crushed by the weight of it all. You’re human. And in those raw, ugly, “I can’t do this” hours? You’re not losing, you’re recalibrating.

Because motherhood isn’t about having answers. It’s about showing up anyway, even when your brain’s screaming at you to run away and hide.

It’s deciding, daily, that love > perfection. That growth isn’t pretty, but it’s yours.

So yeah some days suck. But you’re still here. Still learning. Still building a version of yourself that’s tougher, softer, and way more interesting than the person you were before.

Hi everyone đŸ«¶đŸŒ Daniella here, it’s time to reintroduce myself and Portal2Love, a name I chose during one of the most enlightening seasons of my life just months after giving birth to my rainbow baby Kali in 2021đŸŒ·Allow me to tell you why this work I do matters


The short story is this one:
I was always the quiet overly observant kid who learned to read rooms and people before I could even read chapter books. My parents immigrated from Nicaragua, worked really hard, and loved us fiercely, but like all families, ours had shadows. By around 10 years old I was already being leaned on as the “therapy” friend and family member and by 17 I had become a mom. My oldest Aliyah required my entire existence. What society and the people around me viewed as a “mistake” turned out to be my greatest gift, but don’t get me wrong it was not easy at all.

When I got pregnant with Kali at the end of 2020 (after years of disconnection and a silent battle with anxiety and episodic depression) I vowed to do things differently. Her birth cracked me open, literally and spiritually. In those primal moments of labor, I met versions of myself I didn’t know existed. I met the warrior, the child, the healer. That’s when Portal2Love really began, well really it began back in 2013 when Aliyah was born but after Kali’s birth is when everything finally made sense.

I only intended to provide doula services when this first started out but here’s when things pivoted:
After attending a few births as a doula, physical support wasn’t enough. Moms needed deeper healing, tools to require the anxiety, guilt, and generational patterns living in their nervous systems. So, after years of using these practices in my own journey of self development, motherhood and pregnancy, I dove into Prenatal Yoga, Somatic Therapy and Neuroplasticity.

Today, Portal2Love is:

‱ Neuro-Somatic mentorship to heal birth trauma, mother wounds, and the “I’m failing” script
