Meet BCBA:
Maria Priscilla Brujan has been a BCBA since October 2021. She has been in the Applied Behavior Analysis field since 2017. She was born in New York City and moved to Florida at the age of 15 years old. Maria attended college at the University of Central Florida where she obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree with a major in Psychology. Maria grew a strong passion for the behavior aspect of Psychology. She learned about the applied behavior field in 2016 and she started to work as an Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). She attended Ball State University and received her Masters with coursework focused on Applied behavior. She then focused on her required fieldwork hours. Maria enjoys working with individuals who have Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD), ADHD, and Down syndrome. What Maria loves the most about the Applied Behavior Field is that you do not need a diagnosis to implement the ABA techniques. ABA works for everyone ranging from infants to the elderly. Maria wants to help out the community by offering 1-1 consultations and also offer workshops about frequent concerns regarding behavior. She knows that it takes a team to make a difference and an extra set of hands are sometimes required.
