If you’re truly in a calorie deficit, your body will lose weight.
That’s just how science works.
But what if you think you’re in a deficit… and you’re not?
Here are a few things that sneak up on a lot of people, especially moms:
🍷 Liquid calories:
Your lattes, juice, wine, teas with cream…
They add up fast and don’t keep you full.
You have to track them.
👶 BLTs (Bites, Licks, Tastes):
A few goldfish here, a pizza crust there, your kid’s leftovers…
They seem like “nothing” but they count.
You are not a human garbage disposal. You deserve your own meal.
📆 Weekend mindset:
If you’re strict Monday to Friday and go overboard on weekends, you might be canceling out your entire deficit (or even going into surplus).
Consistency matters. Not perfection, just consistency.
