Can I be transparent with y’all? I know y’all won’t read it all but I’m really just sharing because this post marks the beginning of my new journey lol.
I’ve been struggling with my fit journey as of late. My midsection has NOT been my friend and I cannot seem to lose ANY weight anymore 😂. Trying to listen to my body and figure out what I need to change has been so hard. I’ve gotten tests to check my hormone levels and regular blood work and everything came back fine.
No matter how much I work out, I don’t lose the weight…it just all pretty much shifts to my midsection. Now, I know age and stress and other life things that are beyond our control can impact our fitness journey but I can at least focus on the things that I can control! So, here are some things that I am doing to see if I can get back on track:
Eating clean - I’ve really added more processed foods into my diet. Those have to go! Focusing on whole foods
Pre and probiotic supplements for gut health - yes, yes…there are a lot of mixed feelings from people around taking these because we should get these from our food sources but I’m testing it out anyway lol.
Running 3 miles two times a week…again - I miss running and love cardio lol.
Push past my “limits” - my workouts have just been…comfortable. There is no growth in the space of comfort. This weekend, after my workouts, my whole body ached and I LOVED IT.
Share - this platform was always a way to keep me motivated and I’ve fallen off lol but I’m back…and for good!
