Nurse Jessa Not sure what to do about a health situation? Let's talk it through so you can understand what’s going on and know what to do next.

Being the “helper” in a family can feel like a lot.

Especially when someone you love is dealing with a health issue…
and everyone is looking to you to make sense of it.

That kind of pressure is hard to carry alone.

I’m not here to diagnose.

I’m not here to replace your doctor.

I’m here to help with the part where things feel unclear.

The part where you’re trying to understand what’s happening…
what questions to ask…
and what to do next.

That’s the work we do together.

Sometimes the hardest part is not knowing whether your concern is valid.

You’re wondering:

“Am I overthinking this?”
“Should I be more worried?”
“Do I need to call someone?”

That in-between space can feel really heavy.

Sometimes talking it through helps you figure out what actually needs attention.

27/04/2026

Sometimes people leave appointments feeling like they should understand more than they do.

Like they missed something.

Like they should’ve asked better questions.

But the truth is… you were probably given a lot of information, quickly.

That’s hard to process in real time.

You’re not behind.
You may just need space to slow it down and think it through.

You don’t have to have it all figured out before you reach out.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, unsure, or stuck in “what do I do now?” mode—
that’s often the right time to talk.

You don't need to have everything figured out before you book. You can come with questions, half-formed thoughts, or just a sense that something doesn't feel clear. We'll take it one step at a time. What to expect We meet one-on-one over video, and you can share what’s going on at your own pace. I...

I’m not here to replace your doctors.

I’m here for the part in between.

The part where you’re trying to:

• understand what you’ve been told
• figure out what questions to ask
• and decide what actually makes sense next

That’s the space we work in.

13/04/2026

It’s even harder when it’s not about you.

When you’re trying to make sense of things for a parent, a spouse, or someone you love…
and you’re the one expected to help figure it out.

That’s a different kind of pressure.

11/04/2026

If you’ve been going back and forth in your head about something health-related…
trying to decide what to do, what to ask, or whether something feels right—
that’s usually a good time to talk it through.

You don’t have to keep spinning on it alone.

09/04/2026

I see a lot of people second-guess themselves after appointments.

Not because they weren’t paying attention—

but because they were trying to process information in real time, under pressure.

And that’s hard to do.

Especially when it actually matters.

06/04/2026

You don’t need to come to me with a perfect summary.

Most people don’t.

Sometimes it sounds more like:

“Okay so… this might not make sense, but here’s what’s been happening…”

And that’s exactly where we start.

We slow it down, sort it out, and figure out what actually matters.

03/04/2026

You’re given a few options…
and expected to just choose.

But no one really explains:

• how those options are different in real life
• what matters most for your situation
• or how to actually think it through

So you leave thinking:

“How am I supposed to decide this?”

That’s a really common place to get stuck.
