The Presbyterian Hospital, Donkorkrom rededicated a renovated isolation ward, a building named ' house of mercy' today, Wednesday, April 01, 2020 as preparation towards the management of COVID 19 suspected cases ( should there be any in Afram Plains).
Functionaries at the short ceremony amongst others include: The District Chief Executive (DCE) - Hon. Samuel Kena, the District Director of Ghana Health Service, Donkorkrom - Mr. Robert Kwaku Bio, the District Minister of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana, Donkorkrom - Rev. Joseph Nketia, the District Police Commander - Mr. Gadekor Emmanuel, the Chief Imam - Alhaji Fuseine Osman, the District Forestry Manager - Rev. Jonathan Obour Wiredu, the Queen mother of Donkorkrom - Nana Oforiwaa, the Chairman of the Local Council of Churches - Rev. Caleb N. Daribi, and the representative of the member of Parliament - Hon. George Safo
At the ceremony, the DCE on behalf of the District Assembly presented 4 veronica buckets, 16 rolls of tissue, 4 gallons of hand sanitizer, and 24 bottles of liquid soap to the hospital.
Also, the NPP Parliamentary Candidate - Mr. Isaac Ofori Koree, presented 2 veronica buckets, 1 box of carbolic soap, 5 bottles of liquid soaps and 10 s/size bottles of hand sanitizer to the hospital.
