My softness is my strength 💖

I used to dislike being sensitive.
I thought it made me weak.
But take away that single trait,
and you take away the very essence of who I am.
You take away my conscience, my ability to empathize,
my intuition, my creativity, my deep appreciation for the little things, my vivid inner life, my deep awareness of others’ pain,
and my passion for it all ..

Today I’m going to fall in love
with the way I belong to myself,
regardless of any situation,
or circumstance,
or commitment,
or outside happening.
I’m going to fall in love

I refuse to settle for less
than vibrant aliveness,
less than what feeds
and fuels this energy wildly.
Fully. Infinitely. Freely.
Because I’ll allow nothing
on the outside
to detract from,
limit, lessen,
or shrink this.

Some of us are dandelions- some of us are Roses.

I spent years trying to be the dandelion. The world telling me I’m too sensitive and I cry too much. Trying to fit into the dandelion mold was slowly killing me. I died a little every day.

It took me years to understand that I am not like everyone else. I need SPECIFIC conditions in order to grow. I finally stopped comparing myself to others and was able to see my own unique beauty and care for myself accordingly.

The title of this picture is Lightworker on Earth and boy does this resonate with me. Sometimes the path we walk as LIGHTWORKERS is so lonely and sometimes discouraging.

It’s important to remember that we are not alone in our journey and we are always here to help each other see the light in the darkness.
