Listen, I get it! It's easy to slack on your PT exercises because of life, kids, vacation, tiredness, etc. But if you want the results, you have to put in the time.
I have daily conversations with my patients on how to fit in PT exercises more easily without feeling overwhelmed or like it's one more thing to do....

Here's a list of common things I suggest or that my patients tell me they are doing!

Real Talk!!
Postpartum is for life! It's never too late to address any symptoms that you feel are associated with having a baby. And remember, it may be "common" but it's NOT NORMAL!

Breath holding and sucking in can lead to unnecessary tension and pressure in the pelvic floor which can ultimately lead to pelvic pain, incontinence, and prolapse.

Have you ever had a medical provider tell you "just do kegels and you'll be fine?!"

Ugh!!! That's the worst thing to tell someone!

The pelvic floor muscles can be too tight, imbalanced, or super weak and telling someone to just do kegels can make things WAY worse.

Go see a pelvic floor PT and learn how to use your pelvic floor muscles the right way! 💪
