Happy National Registered Dietitian Day! 🌟

As a RD, my mission is to help women build healthy habits, feel their best, and improve their long-term health.

Weight loss isn’t about quick fixes or following the latest fad—it’s about creating sustainable, balanced habits that work for YOU.

I became an RD because I want to empower women with the knowledge and confidence to know exactly what their body needs… not just for this summer season, but for a lifetime.💪

3 Months Postpartum…..and it’s been quite a ride!

The last 3 months have been a blur, but such an exciting time.

🩵We have officially made our move cross country & are back in CA….if anyone has Napa food recommendations let me know!

🩵I launched HER Academy…check out the link in my bio.

🩵And we have been getting used to life as Mom & Dad.

While I’ve stepped away from social media over the past 3 months, I’m excited to be back!
I’m looking forward to sharing my own weight loss journey and help other women reach their goals.

🎃Counting down the days until we meet our little pumpkin!

We spent the last 2 weekends celebrating our little guy. The love and support we received from our family and friends was truly incredible.

A HUGE shoutout to our parents for pulling off a West Coast & East Coast baby shower.

We have been so lucky to have a great support system and I am so grateful knowing bebe will have a wonderful community by his side.

⬇️Monday Reset Steps…..

If you felt like you “blew it” this weekend, here’s what I want you to do.

Go grab a note book and follow these steps.

1️⃣Write down what happened this weekend that makes you feel guilty, ashamed, or stressed out about.

Did you have the intention to be “good”….but then had too many drinks and then ending eating everything in sight when you got home?

2️⃣Now write down 2-3 things that would have helped if you were in this situation again. (This can NOT just be “eat less”)…thats not helpful. If you could go back, what would you do differently!

Perhaps you would plan a snack for when you get home? Not skip breakfast? Set an alcohol limit of 1-2 drinks?

3️⃣Now is the hardest part. Drop the guilt and shameful feeling by shifting your energy towards what you can control.

You can’t change last weekend. BUT you can….

👉Acknowledge that you have a better plan for next weekend.

👉Get right back to your healthy habits NOW, not tmrw, not later this week, your next meal.

👉Dive into a journal or mindset practice that allows you to move through this week with compassion, self-acceptance, and confidence.

This will be more motivating and last longer than trying to punish yourself….it will also make next weekend a heck of a lot easier.

⬇️ Weekend mindset shifts to help with fat loss…..

1️⃣Your weekends CAN look different than your week day eating.

This doesn’t mean that it is bad…it’s just different. Instead of just having 🍕 , pair it with some fiber or protein.

2️⃣Skipping a meal to save calories for later…just leads to overeating later.

If tracking calories on date night is causing stress and anxiety 🛑 STOP 🛑 doing it. Learn to listen to your hunger and fullness signals, and set yourself up for success.

3️⃣Check your mindset first ….

Telling yourself you “shouldn’t have it”….or….maybe you tell yourself “that you deserve to have it”. The blame and guilt game, is what leads to you to feel out of control around food.

Instead learn to trust yourself. You are less likely to overeat if you don’t head into the meal with shame, fear, and stress.

👉You can stop body fat without obsessing about food.
We just need to shift your mindset first babe!

I’ve been caught in it too!

The first time I posted this cycle was 3 years ago…..

And I still talk to a lot of women who find themselves stuck.

You have tried counting calories, macros, having meal plans for the weekend….but to be honest… you know WHAT to eat.

You know more protein is helpful
You know veggies and produce are important

❌BUT when the weekend comes you can’t execute❌

You talk yourself out of the salad you planned to order.
You convince yourself you already blew it at brunch so “what the hell”….you can finish dessert and start tmrw.

A new diet plan doesn’t solve your execution….

Fixing the way you view the weekend and truly understand WHY its you overeat when going out gives your the power back.

✅The power to eat “normally”

✅The power to stay consistent

✅The power to be okay with flexibility WHILE seeing progress.

And the power to break this damn cycle.

Your mindset matters….even on the weekend!

I share a full day of eating to provide ideas and show you that you can enjoy your meals WHILE reaching your protein and fiber goals.

100-120g of protein is perfect for me right now in my second trimester.

✅It feels good on my body, hunger levels, and appetite.

Your goals and might look a little different….and thats perfectly okay.

💕 Our bodies are unique and your nutrition will be too!

Whats most important is that you find meals you love that also work for your goals.

💘 In a relationship trust is important and this valentine’s can be a perfect opportunity to improve your trust in a relationship with yourself too! If you keep telling yourself that you will “start tmrw”, “wont give up this time”, start exercising this week”…and then you break those promises. Its game over. You lose momentum, you not longer trust yourself. So here the first step to fixing it.
1) make daily, small and realistic commitments to yourself.
2) see them through….and keep the promise you made to yourself.
