What if these are the most important questions you could ask yourself right now?

What if the answers determined who you for to be for yourself today, tomorrow and 5 hasta from now?

Our beliefs about who we are and what we and our bodies are capable of determine our quality of life.

What will you choose to believe is possible?

What if everything you despite for yourself and your life is possible and there are simply blinds spots in the way of your getting there?

My heart felt request is that you must on that and these questions.

The body remembers. The body keeps score.

And, you’re only defined by your past as long as you allow yourself to be. 💜

The first step in getting free from your past is distinguishing what parts of your past are actually affecting you in the present.

And then it’s time to get to work on loving yourself and forgiving yourself

Healing all of the shame, blame and fear!

Because NONE of this is your fault!

The human body and mind were only designed to handle so much!

Pain, depression, anxiety and fatigue are all danger signals!

It’s the body‘s way of letting you know that something is wrong

that you need help.

At the end of the day, while all of these things, while all these experiences, are horrible to live through and to endure,

this is good news!

This is good news, because it gives you access to healing.

It gives you a roadmap from which you get to explore your past

and see where you’ve been hurt.

Then it's time to begin healing

your inner child

reparenting yourself

learning what self love self, compassion, and grace really are

Creating new, healthy boundaries for yourself and your life.

You are not alone
and
You are NOT stuck with pain!

I am officially UNmedicated. The good, bad, and the ugly.

The last few months have been really rough.

I am unmedicated for the first time in a decade.

My mind body and soul have been and continue to be in recalibration.

I understand that this road isn’t for everyone. And it is the path for me right now.

The good, the bad, the ugly of it all.

I’d gotten to a point in my journey where 90% of my old self just wasn’t enough anymore.

I needed to see if there was more available for me and my life and whether getting off of medications that may have been
causing my brain fog
causing my anxiety
causing some of my flareups

is in fact the final linchpin to me being Fibro free.

And, the truth is I don’t have an answer for you guys. It’s still too new, too raw.

But here I am, getting to know a whole new me.

And, It feels good to be back on social media. To be back sharing with you guys.
(And, BOY do I have done new things up my sleaves for you!!!)

Ultimately it is for those who come after that I do hard things.

2023 is my year of fun!
It is a year to come alive again.
A year to start the second half of my life, newly.

And really pull out ALL the stops and see what I am truly capable of doing

WHO I am capable of BECOMING not just for myself but for the world at large.

Wherever you’re at today, it’s all OK. It’s part of the journey.

Just remember to love and honor yourself.

Because without that, none of the progress you seek as possible.

Holiday Flares Survival Guide.

If you're like me, sometimes you cheat on the holidays, knowing that you're running the risk of a flare, just for the emotional comfort of eating family holiday dishes.

Well, there's no use in beating yourself up about it now. So here's a holiday flare survival guide.

If you're flaring, the number #1 thing there is to do, is to stay calm. Stress is not your friend. So, breathe, meditate, pop on some happy music or watch something that makes you laugh.

#2 stay well hydrated. Dehydration causes flares and makes them worse!

#3 try heat in the form of a heating pad, an Epsom salt bath, and /or an infrared sauna, especially if it's cold where you are. Just don't over do it!

# 4 gentle movement like stretching or yin yoga.

# 5 don't self sabotage. Now is not the time to put off taking meds because you don't want to get out of bed or eating the food that will emotionally sooth you but probably make your fibro worse (I'm looking at you Thanksgiving stuffing and pecan pie!)

#6 Be kind to yourself. Cut the negative self talk and start with the positive affirmations and self love! Kicking yourself when your down is a massive waste of time!

#7 Be in communication. Share your needs with loved ones. If they don't get it, that's okay, too. What matters is that you advocate for yourself.

#8 Body work. If you can afford it and get an appointment, try acupuncture, cranial sacral and / or myofacial release massage therapy.
