Maintain a healthy lifestyle and improve your health
In order to have good health, everyone needs to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Sometimes a small change to your daily lifestyle can make a big difference in your health. To improve health and quality of life we need:
1. A healthy diet
To be healthy, the diet must have an appropriate amount of calories and a variety of plant-based foods, low in animal foods including plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, dairy, beans, seeds…
2. Sleep well and sleep for 8 hours a day to stay healthy
Sleep is the fuel that helps the body's organs function properly. When you get enough sleep, your body is rested and re-energized after every day of activity. Therefore, reasonable rest and enough sleep is an extremely necessary medicine for health.
3. Drink enough water
Drinking enough water is one of the essential elements to keep the body healthy. Make it a habit to drink 1.5-2 liters of water per day to stay healthy.
4. Say no to fast food
Fast food may make you feel better than home-cooked food, but most processed foods contain a lot of fat, sugar and salt, additives, and unsafe ingredients. Unhygienic variables, etc. are harmful to health and have many risks leading to metabolic diseases such as atherosclerosis, diabetes, fatty liver, etc. Therefore, say no to fast food and junk food. Processed foods are also one of the secrets to improving health.
5. Practice sports
Healthy people always make sure to be active for at least 30 minutes a day and like to exercise. The only way to enjoy exercise is to find an exercise you love and are suitable for yourself such as jogging, walking, cycling, yoga, zumba or mountain climbing… Exercise contributes to improving health and protect the body against cardiovascular and respiratory diseases.
6. Deep breath
Oxygen plays an extremely important role in cells, including brain cells. Practice deep breathing habits to help maximize lung expansion to help prevent lung-related diseases and provide adequate oxygen to the brain to keep the body awake and relaxed.
7. Give up bad habits
There is no such thing as a healthy lifestyle secret that will benefit you if you still maintain bad habits like smoking, abusing alcohol or drugs. Smoking ci******es and drinking a lot of alcohol will affect health directly and indirectly.
