I used to think that progress was all about hitting every workout, tracking every macro, and never missing a day. I believed that if I wasn’t perfect, I was failing. But over time, I’ve learned that real progress doesn’t come from a place of perfection — it comes from showing up, even when it’s hard, even when it’s messy, even when life doesn’t go according to plan.

There have been days when I’ve crushed my workouts, felt on top of the world, been the fittest person I thought I could be... But there have also been days where I’ve missed the gym, chosen rest over training, or had a few late night snacks. And you know what? That’s okay. Progress is built over months and years, not in a single day or even a week. It’s in the small, consistent steps forward, the ones that aren’t always perfect but are always full of effort.

So, if you’re feeling frustrated, if you’re doubting your progress, remember this: fitness is a journey, not a deadline. Every step you take, no matter how small, moves you closer to your goals. Trust the process, be patient with yourself, and don’t let one off day make you forget how far you’ve come. Because in the end, it’s not about perfection—it’s about persistence, resilience, and believing that you are always capable of more.

Do it for the plot, baby! 🔥

Ever feel like you’re the problem when things don’t go as planned in your health and fitness journey? 🫣

Well, I’m here to tell you that failing to achieve something doesn’t mean YOU are a failure… 🙅‍♀️

Maybe the plan wasn’t right for you or wasn’t realistic.

Maybe you were too hard on yourself.

Maybe the process made you miserable, and you hated every second of it.

Maybe you didn’t have the support or guidance you needed.

Maybe you were putting too much pressure on a single outcome.

Maybe your goals didn’t align with what truly matters to you.

Remember, setbacks or struggles are often just a sign that something in the process needs adjusting, not a reflection of your worth or ability. 🌱

Well, as much fun as it was, I can safely say I’m ready and raring to get back into work, training and life after 5 weeks away. 😎

Looking back, I’d been running close to burnout in the lead up to going had lost my spark with a lot of things. I was barely training, not eating well, had no energy or motivation to work on the biz, and just feeling really closed off from the things and people I love… 🤯

However, with some distance and time off came a whole lot of perspective shifts that I’m looking forward to putting into practice back here on home turf. IDC what people say; sometimes you have need some time off and space to really remember what matters to you and why. 🤔

I’ll be showing what I’m doing for my own get-back-on-track game-plan for my health and fitness. But I’ve also got some exciting things planned for the rest of the year that I’m looking forward to sharing with you all. 👀

There’s just over 3 months left in 2024 and you best believe we are gonna be squeezing EVERY last drop of juice out of it. 🧃

If your dream body weighed 10kg heavier than you thought it would, would you not want it anymore?

If your dream body meant that you couldn't eat your favourite food anymore, would you still want it?

If your dream body meant eating out with your loved ones was stressful, would you still want it?

Too many of us fail to realise that our dream body is not a dream if it is a nightmare to maintain.

I say, f**k what the scales say.

Letting an arbitrary number dictate your life and your choices is madness.

Eating good foods, training hard, enjoying the process whilst also living your life is what really matters.

Don't get caught up in the bullsh*t.

Just some (of many) ways in which strength training has improved my life, and can do the same for you.

Whatever reasons get you INTO the gym, these are the ones that are likely to keep you going.

What's your reasons?
