Many of us go about our daily lives without giving much thought to our feet. It's often only when an issue arises that we recognize their true significance.
Our feet are typically hidden beneath shoes and socks, making them easy to overlook or take for granted, however, we should not neglect them.
Our feet are remarkably intricate. Each foot comprises 26 bones, 33 joints, and an extensive network of nerves and blood vessels. Additionally, there are over 100 muscles along with tendons and ligaments that connect them.
All these components work in unison to provide our entire bodies with stability and balance as we navigate through life, our seemingly humble feet carry immense responsibilities.
In our series classes this week, the feet are the focus.

THE GREAT BELL CHANT

Do you think you're not flexible enough for Yoga?
I am here to tell you there is no prerequisite and no requirement to be flexible to learn and practice yoga. I consider my entirely average level of flexibility one of my strengths as a yoga teacher and is one of the reasons I continue to practice yoga.
Yoga is more about the journey than the destination and is a practice of consistency and dedication. It's about listening to and honoring your body's subtle messages while working within your limits.
In beginner functional yoga, we start with simple stretches, then flexibility and mobility gradually improve over time. It's a process that can be fun, sometimes challenging, and always rewarding. No pressure, No pushing, No performance, No competition.

The Crone Archetype The word Crone is derived from the old word for crown; she is the pre, peri and post menopausal wisdom keeper, seer and healer who guides others during life's hardships and transitions. We are reclaiming Crone from a term of abuse, negative connotations and limiting beliefs.
