This Dementia Action Week, 18th to 24th May, we want to continue to raise awareness of dementia, the UK's biggest killer, and the connection to hearing loss.
People who develop hearing problems during mid-life (aged 40–65) may have an increased risk of developing dementia. However, whether or not someone develops dementia depends on many other factors besides their hearing. Hearing changes could also be an early symptom of dementia.
