Aparajita tea or Butterfly pea flower tea or Blue tea
Clitoria ternatea commonly known as Aparajita in Bangla, Koyala in Hindi, and it is also known as Asian pigeonwings, bluebellvine, blue pea, Butterfly pea, cordofan pea and Darwin pea in different countries. The plant is native to equatorial Asia.
The blue flower is packed with health boosting antioxidant and commonly used in cooking, baking, drinks and as a natural food colour. The flower also used in traditional Ayurveda and Chinese medicine.
The surprising fact is one cup of herbal blue tea made from Aparajita can relieve numerous health problems. Those who wants to relieve from caffeine for them it is a very good choice to have Aparajita tea instead of tea or coffee.
Recent study have shown Aparajita or blue tea offer numerous health benefits including:

The compound in this blue flower called Epigallocatechin Gallate (EGCG) which speeds up calorie burning by boosting the metabolism. It is also helping to burn belly fat and fighting against fatty liver diseases.
♧ Natural Paracetamol:
Blue tea extract have antipyretic properties which helps to reduce the body temperature and helps to reduce fever. Also, it is used for pain reliever.
♧ Good for Eye health:
Blue tea extract contain Proanthocyanidin, is one such antioxidant which helps to increasing blood flow to the capillaries of the eyes and prevent retinal damage, glaucoma, or blurred vision.
♧ Combats the effects of diabetes:
According to the Journal of Applied Pharmaceutical Science, blue tea extract has anti- diabetics properties similar of Glibenclamide, an anti- diabetic drug. So, cups of blue tea helps to regulates and lower blood glucose level and inhibits excess glucose absorption from food.

Blue tea does not contain any caffeine. So, it can be caffeine free replacement in place of conventional tea to consume whenever feels to have cup of tea.
