What is Ketogenic diet?

The ketogenic diet is also known as the keto diet, is a very low-carb, high-fat diet.

When we drastically reduce our carb intake, our body enters a metabolic state known as ketosis. It is when the body starts burning fat as your primary source of energy, particularly for your brain.

What are the health benefits of it?
The health benefits of the keto diet are plenty. Not only does it help reduce body fat, but it also keeps your blood sugar and insulin level low.

Aside from the standard keto diet, there are several other versions such as high-protein keto diet or cyclical keto diet, where you will follow a standard low-carb, high-fat diet for five to six days a week and one to two days of eating a slightly higher amount of carb.
