Bruised not Broken with Tasha Biltmore Remember Eve in the Book Genesis?

She was not only the first woman and the mother of all living, she is representative of many others first as well: the first family, first marital conflict, the first rekindling of a woman's dream.

I was Bruised not Broken

When women are abused , She lives with anger that nobody helped her, nobody intervened on her behalf, nobody stepped in and rescued her. People may have seen, but nobody helped. When people reject you its very difficult for you to feel good about yourself. You start thinking “Well if they don’t think I am worth anything maybe I am not. If they are willing to throw me aside, I must be of no value. This tour I am going out saying out loud I use to be her. Now I will never allow another person’s view of me control how I view myself. Thats too much power to give to another human being. I recognize that those who reject me have no ability to see inside me, to hear the meaning behind my words, to feel he quality of my touch. They have bought into the lie- either consciously or unconsciously- that the devil told them about me , They may believe that lie , but I don’t believe it!! In Matthew 22:39 Jesus says we are to love other people to the degree that we love ourselves. If we don’t love ourselves, then we don’t have any love to give our neighbors. If no one else has compassion on you, remember the God does and that’s reason enough to be good to yourself!
