Congrats to any mummas who have given, even just one drop, of this precious resource to your future generations.
Every drop counts. The benefits of your breastmilk carries through to your future generations. This is from the Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) website:

“Breastmilk contains about 200 different types of oligosaccharides (prebiotics), which provide food for the good bacteria in the gut. Our genes carry ‘memories’ from past generations (called ‘epigenetics’). So, who we are today is a result of who our past generations were – up to three generations back at least!
The breastmilk you provide for your baby has a positive impact on not only them but also their children!”

Hi all, Nicole Voegt here. Exciting news. I am now practising as a Private Lactation Consultant 🥰 For those who don't know, I have been an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) since 2008. I am also a Registered Nurse, Midwife and Child and Family Health Nurse. After having a break from working as a lactation consultant in hospitals for the last 5 years (achieving Baby Friendly Health Initiative at Shoalhaven Hospital), I am really excited to see the "look of empowerment" in mother's eyes and supporting mothers to Njoy Breastfeeding, in their own home, using current and evidence based info. I am based in the Camden/Campbelltown/Wollondilly areas. Mothers can call/text me for appointments on 0480 407 864. My website is currently under construction 🤓.
