Join me this Tuesday 20th January for our first Qoya Inspired Movement of 2026.

The theme, Seeds of Hope, invites us to turn our attention to what is quietly growing within us, even when the outer world feels uncertain, heavy, or in transition.

Hope does not always arrive as something loud or obvious. Often, it begins as a small, tender seed—fragile, easily overlooked, yet full of potential.

A seed carries possibility before there is proof. It asks for patience, care, and trust in unseen processes. Likewise, the hopes we hold may not yet have form or certainty—but they are alive.

As we meet our body and breath through music and movement, you are invited to explore:

Hope, not as forced positivity, but as something earned, nurtured, and deeply personal.

What seeds of hope are already present in your life, even in small or unexpected ways.

Hopes that may have been planted long ago and are now asking for attention.

What conditions help your hope grow—rest, connection, boundaries, courage, tenderness.

What you may need to protect, tend, or release in order for new growth to emerge

Some seeds rest beneath the soil for a long time before they break through. There is no rush and no comparison. Each person’s hope has its own timing.

This theme honours the cycles and seasons, and this practice reminds us that just like nature, we are wise, wild and free

Seeds of Hope is an invitation to listen inward, to trust what is quietly unfolding, and to explore through movement what seeds are ready to be nurtured, ready for the coming spring.

I've loved seeing people's reflections on where they were in 2016 but it's only just now that I've looked back on where I was and it's quite emotional.

If I could go back and talk to 34 year old me in this first picture (March 2016) I would tell her:

💜It's not full blown cancer, but it is a grapefruit sized borderline ovarian tumour 😔. Hold on in there though, you're going to be okay (kinda!)

💜You won't be having any more babies as you'll need a full hysterectomy to make sure nothing comes back. And you'll be flung into surgical menopause in 2017 at 35 😬

💜 Take the HRT! It will literally save your life - maybe don't wait so long to seek specialist help though! You do get to the right dose of HRT eventually though!

💜 Your life is going to change next year in ways you never expect and your heart will be broken when you lose your dad. He never really leaves you though, just keep listening to the radio!

💜Hold onto your mum, she needs you and your babies to get her through what's to come.

💜 Some of the friends you have now will become chapters in your book and fade out of your life. There are new life long friends waiting for you in the coming year, including your soul sister.

💜Love that man hard, he stands by you through it all and you are going to need him in ways that only deepen your love for one another in the coming years.

💜Parenting is hard, but loving those babies is not. They grow into the most awesome of teenagers (even though it's still hard!) - see photo 2!

💜 You are going to meet the most amazing people, and some extra special women who shine a light on your healing. You'll become the woman you were always meant to be because of them.

💜You'll figure out your mental health and anxiety, and start to help others do the same through the weird and wonderful work that you do.

💜 You not only survive, but you truly start to thrive and love life in ways you never have. And even when the world feels dark and heavy, keep holding onto hope and happiness!

Last night Laura from offered her first 'The Written Woman - Creative Writing and Journalling Circle'

It was a somewhat strange experience for me sitting on the other side of this circle space at first but Laura created such a beautiful container for this practice that I very quickly breathed into the space, softened my body and listened.

With an offering of prompts around the theme of 'Seeds of Hope' , I managed to release some worry, connect some dots and root myself in my values through the written word.

This is going to be a wonderful addition to the Sparks & Seeds offerings and an integral part of my own self-care!📖🥰

The spirit animal, the stag, serves as a sacred beacon of hope and inspiration, gently guiding us toward a deeper remembrance of who we truly are and of the living world that surrounds us.

In embracing its ancient wisdom and embodying its qualities of quiet strength, graceful presence, and profound spiritual insight, we learn to walk our path with reverence and courage.

Through the stag’s guidance, life’s challenges become initiations rather than obstacles, and we are invited to move forward with trust, emerging renewed and victorious on our soul’s journey toward self-realization and inner harmony.

It felt so good to be back in circle this evening 💖 thank you to all the women who gathered for the first
Weavers of Wisdom Sisterhood Circle of 2026.

In this space we connected to our truth, our feelings and the sparks and seeds of life, death and everything in between! The threads of wisdom were well and truly woven together and my heart is grateful as always! Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏

It is my pleasure to share this new offering from Sparks & Seeds that is being facilitated by my dear friend and soul sister Laura 💖

'I’m Laura, a writer and facilitator with a deep love for the written word in all its forms. Writing has long been how I make sense of the world, shaping my experiences into something that can be shared.

Through journalling circles and guided writing, I hold grounded, safe spaces for people to slow down, write without pressure, and explore language as both private expression and shared creativity.'

I spent an hour and a half nagging the kids to get out of bed so I could take us on a family walk from Stansted and I'm glad I did!

It was a lovely walk, albeit a little cold 🥶 but I really enjoyed spending that time with them all and we got to properly chat.
It took a little longer than planned and a few aches and pains, but 5 miles covered and now for a chilled afternoon cleaning!

How's your Sunday been?
