Simply Speech in DC! Alison Katherine and I were able to make the Annual ASHA convention again this year. It’s always a rejuvenating experience and I got to do it with my best friend/colleague/co-worker!

And a very big shout out to our private tour guide for the after hours walk through of the Capitol Building. Our nerd hearts are full!!

Who runs the world!?! A shoutout to our team who works hard and still manages to find time to do big things! Congratulations! Simply Speech LLC is a small business run by these wonderful ladies. Erin is the owner and therapist- she works two days a week at the clinic seeing clients, provides supervision support, and manages the daily communications. Anna is the main therapist for our preschool clients, traveling to them to support a variety of needs. She is wonderful at communicating with parents. Makenzie did a graduate school placement with us and though she doesn’t see clients (right now! 😉) she works diligently on sending out those bills each week! Nataleigh is our rockstar assistant! She provides services to students at SMCPS and is seeing a few clients in the office! Alison works with us as a second job- her main career has her working as the main SLP at a skilled nursing facility in Solomon’s. Lauren enjoyed her first contract position with us and decided to stay there full time but don’t worry! She is still seeing clients in the clinic several days a week after school! And last but certainly not least is Brittany! She’s a mama of 2 beautiful girls who is just getting back into the SLP world- she is also working with clients at one of our preschools! These are the hard working faces of the Simply Speech team. Everyone puts in their most and deserves a little recognition (and a big break!) Thank you ladies and thank you to all of our supporters! .ae
