Every year, thousands of kids are rushed to the ER with head injuries from bike, scooter, and skateboard accidents—many of them preventable.

🪖 Wearing a helmet reduces the risk of brain injury by up to 88%!
👧🏽👦🏻 And guess what? Kids are more likely to wear one if their parents do too.

As a pediatrician, I’ve seen firsthand how one small decision can make a BIG difference in protecting young, developing brains.

✅ Make it a family rule: No helmet, no wheels.
✅ Check that it fits snugly and sits low on the forehead.
✅ Replace helmets after a crash or every 5 years.

Let’s keep our kids safe, smart, and shining bright.
