Taking a walk in the woods has always been relaxing and helps me clear my mind. We decide to hike in Westwoods Park. It was beautiful and we made our way along the trail to a bridge that had Alaska graffiti on it. I smiled thinking of Jason. A bit further along I stopped for a breather and right next to me, carved in the tree was "Jason". What a0 wonderful walk it was. Xoxo

Yesterday we went to Big Creek Park and hiked almost every trail. We visited Deep Woods Lodge and remembered our ceremony there. We stopped for a bite on the way home and raised a toast to Jason. Right after that, a feather, blowing in the breeze went right past my chair. A feather is a symbol for me to know Jason is near. Thank you for being with us Jason.

Messages from the other side.
For me, they are synchronicities that I notice. Often the realization comes after the fact, but suddenly all the pieces fit and it hits you. I mentioned Otters are a symbol to me of Jason. (That developed while he was missing.) I started seeing video clips with Otters in them through the week. As I was thinking (kinda talking in my head to Jason) I thought, I haven't seen the Otters in a long time. Of course I'm thinking actual Otters on the river. That's when it hit me. The video clips, Otters!! He was letting me know all is well, just in a way I didn't see at first. When it finally hit me, it made me smile and laugh at his creativity and ability to communicate.

I made the post at Christmas and immediately after posting I saw a picture of an otter. The synchronicity grows.

The images below are from a photograph company ad. The first ad started with an otter. Eagles also are a Jason related and spiritually important animal for me. Today I saw the same ad starting with an eagle. So the connection gets deeper to me. The company is promoting wildlife photography. Jason and the outdoors are synonymous.

It's just a simple thing but it resonates as a message to me because of the experiences I've had and how I perceive it. This is an example of one way our loved ones on the other side let us know they aren't truly gone. They are with us, always.
