💡Monday Mood Motivation💡

After a weekend of wet, wet, wet, it's no surprise if you're feeling a bit sluggish or low. Rainy days can affect our mood, but they don’t have to take over! 🌧️💪

So next time the wet stuff hits us hard take note of my top tips to boost both your mind and body:

🧠 For the Mind:
✨ Try 10 minutes of journaling or gratitude writing
📚 Pick up that book you’ve been meaning to read - read at least 10 pages.
🎧 Listen to an uplifting podcast or calming music
🧘‍♀️ Try a short guided meditation or deep breathing session

🏃‍♂️ For the Body:
🪩 Put on your favourite playlist and have a dance around the kitchen
🧘‍♂️ Try a 15-minute yoga or stretching routine on YouTube
🧹 Set a timer and blitz-tidy one room—moving with purpose boosts energy
🥗 Make a nourishing meal or prep something colourful to brighten your plate

Rainy days can be the perfect excuse to reset, refocus, and recharge. 🥰

Kick off your weekend with these healthy breakfast ideas:

Avocado Toast with Poached Egg 🥑🍳
Whole grain bread, creamy avo, and a runny egg = energy + flavor!

Greek Yogurt Parfait 🍓🥣
Layer Greek yogurt with fresh berries, a drizzle of honey, and crunchy granola.

Veggie Omelette & Whole Grain Toast 🍳🍞
Loaded with spinach, tomatoes, mushrooms, and a sprinkle of cheese.

Overnight Oats 🫐🥜
Rolled oats soaked in almond milk with chia seeds, topped with blueberries and almond butter.

Smoothie Bowl 🍌🥝

Let’s Celebrate the Wins – BIG or Small.

This week, no matter how small your wins were, they matter. Maybe you got an extra workout in, made a healthier meal choice, or simply showed up for yourself when it would’ve been easier not to. That’s progress. 😁

Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. This is your path, your pace, and it’s all about how it impacts you. By taking care of yourself, you’re also showing up stronger for those around you.

So take a moment and be proud. Then keep going. The difference is being made, step by step.

So much more than just an exercise class… 💪💖

Today, something truly special happened. A group of amazing women came together, not just to get hot and sweaty, but to support each other. There were kind words, shared stories, shoulders to lean on, listening ears, and even a cuddle or two. Together, we reminded one another, it’s going to be ok.

We moved, we grooved, we laughed, and we let go. By the end of those 45 minutes, every single one of us walked out feeling just a little lighter, brighter, and more connected than when we walked in. Just magic!

This is a great reminder that fitness classes support in so many ways rather than just the obvious. They’re about community, connection, and caring for our mental and emotional health as much as our physical.

✨ This is why we show up. ✨

I appreciate every single one of my classes and every single person that attends. You lift me up when I need it most too!

I was fortunate to celebrate the end of another great year teaching the “soldiers point bowling club fitness group” Audrey has been attending classes there since 1989. 🙌🏼
