Oftentimes, when we are bored, our minds naturally wander to food— totally been there

“When was the last time I drank water?”

This is huge! Sometimes when you think you're hungry you may actually just be thirsty. Drinking a glass of water before reaching for something to eat can help to curb unnecessary snacking.

“Should I have a treat or do I need a real meal first?”

When was the last time you had a real meal? Have you just been snacking all day? Before reaching for another snack or treat, make sure you've had a proper breakfast, lunch and dinner that includes lean proteins, complex carbohydrates and healthy fats.

But How?

We came up with a plan that was sustainable for her by communicating weekly and educating her on WHY she was doing what she was doing.

Start your morning by drinking 3 cups of coffee. I mean.. Really get your cortisol spiked, after a night of not sleeping very well.​​​​​​​​

Then get so busy with work and doing things for everyone else that you "forget to eat."​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Grab a yogurt and a cheese stick at 3 pm.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Then at 7 PM eat approximately 75% of your pantry.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Go ahead and fill some of those missed calories with wine too.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
3 glasses should do the trick. Enough to lower inhibition.​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
Then go back for the other 25% of the pantry. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
The "bad foods" that you only eat when you're in the IDGAF mood.​​​​​​​​

Depending on your health and fitness goals, you'll need to commit to a minimum of 3 days of exercise each week to see results. ​​​​​​​​

🛑 Did a mirror check every time I even walked past a window​​​​​​​​
🛑 Searched and hoped and prayed for "progress"​​​​​​​​
🛑 Felt so uncomfortable and bloated frequently that there was no way I couldn't notice my body​​​​​​​​

I "liked" my 16 year old body that had a mix of decent genetics and athletic stature from playing sports.​​​​​​​​

I "liked" my 20 year old body that gained confidence in her abilities through cardio and lifting. ​​​​​​​​
​​​​​​​​
I "liked" my 21 year old body who started to learn what "balance" looked like outside of an unhealthy 1,200 caloric deficit.​​​​​​​​

My morning routine helps me set the tone for the day, reach my fitness goals, and better allowing me to control my schedule rather than my schedule controlling me.​​​​​​​​

As I start each day fresh, I can better focus on the following:​​​​​​​​

We gave her enough carbs for energy demands. In fact, she really struggled to eat all of the carbs that I wanted her to eat in the first month but the more that I was able to get her carbs up the more she lost. The better her energy was and less her cravings were.​​​​​​​​
