received the message, from his Guru, enlightened Masters (Siddhas) and Divine Mother Herself, to embark on a mission to transmit the inner knowledge of bliss (Atmanandam), compassion and unconditional Love to all. On the auspicious day of Guru Poornima, the Full Moon day this lunar month when we honor all our Gurus, teachers, mentors and guides, Sri Shylesh received his spiritual name - Sri Lalithananda, from his Guru [Sri Sadhguru Siva Premananda] in the ancient Siddha traditions of the Srividya lineage of honoring and worshiping the Divine Mother as Goddess. It was also revealed to him that Shylesh's life purpose is to transmit unconditional love and healing to all beings and to serve Divine Mother in all Her forms and propagate the wisdom of Srividya. In this tradition, Divine Mother is the cause, the result and the factor of all reality and existence. 'Lalitha' means playful, charming and Ananda means Joy, Happiness or Bliss (One who purely abides in Divine Mother Love Consciousness)

Life is a struggle and we see suffering all around us in many forms which appears to be out of our control. This human life span is too short for us to speculate and predict our future or forecast future events. The Divinity within us that shines as the inextinguishable fire continually provides ultimate results. Connect within and allow this Divinity to express fully through you. Our only task is to BE in this state of constant awareness. Pray, Meditate and be in the present. ~Sri L

Happy Akshaya Tritiya -This afternoon begins the 3rd lunar phase of the bright half of the fortnight in the month of Vaisakha on the Indian lunar calendar. This is an auspicious and sacred day when both Sun and Moon are brighter and is a good time to start or increase any spiritual activities of meditation, rituals and offerings to others in need, rituals for ancestors and start new auspicious ventures.

Lord Parashuram the Sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu was also born on this auspicious day and hence it is celebrated as Parasuram Jayanthi.

Akshaya means endless, limitless, everlasting and that which never diminishes. Any new venture on this day whether its material or spiritual practices will bring abundance prosperity and stay all through our lives.

The Great Night of Shiva or as it is known- 'Maha Shivarathri' begins at the inception of the dark moon this month.(celebrated this month on Feb 8th). Devotees begin fasting in this day and sit up all night in a devotional vigil doing ritual offerings to his form as Shiva Linga, while chanting the great mantra of lord Shiva -"Om Namah Shivaya!" Or the Mahamrityunjaya Mantra.
He is shown seated in eternal meditative repose in the Highest state of yoga or union with Self in complete absorption. Hence he is known as the Great Yogi. Lord Shiva is associated with the Pineal gland responsible for the body's discernment of circadian rhythms without which there would be chaos, the Crown chakra representing connection to the Highest Self and Supreme Consciousnesss. More commonly He is known as the "Destroyer" associated with the cycles of destruction of all things in the universe out of which new creation begin. Within the body and mind, it signifies destroying old ideas, beliefs and attitudes to be in a state of receptivity for new creative aspects of you to arise. Millions of cells die in every second to make way for new cells. However the mind remains the same. What are you willing to destroy within yourself to regenerate yourself and recreate yourself in a New way? Are you still holding on to a sense of Do-er-ship, "I", "Me", " Mine" and confusing this with your free-will or free agency? Wishing everyone Blessings for Maha Shivarathri!
