During this period, I feel it is a good idea to circulate the best ways to protect ourselves from this and all other viruses for the benefit of all of us.
We have to keep our body’s immunity at the maximum level. We do this by eating the right foods drinking warm lemon juice with water daily, exercising regularly, wearing masks and gloves when we have to go out , otherwise we stay at home. I list below my tips, if you can comment on these /add to them, it would make this advice more valuable for us all. I will circulate the final list to you.
1. The best breakfast for me is porridge. I add to the porridge a variety of seeds ,almonds, nuts, banana, other fruit, fresh sliced ginger, 2 cloves of sliced garlic and cinnamon powder. The garlic is kept in white vinegar for one month to remove the smell. Drink a cup of warm/hot water with juice from a quarter of a lemon .
2. Exercise. Go for walks in the neighbourhood for 45 mins. 3-4 times a week. When going shopping put some Vicks rub into your nostrils to create a barrier to any virus that is inhaled.
3. Main meals. Try to maximize the consumption of fresh vegetables ,fish ,chicken and less red meat. Avoid ready meals and minimize takeaways.
4. Drinking/Smoking. Avoid alcohol and do not smoke – both these habits reduce our immunity and introduce many other toxins into our bodies.
5. If you fall ill, take paracetamol and increase the number of warm/hot water with lemon drinks-Add more lemon juice to each cup of water. Add honey if you do not have a high sugar problem.
6. I have heard of people who have overcome this virus by simply adopting the above advise.
