KAWS encompasses all female doctors pursuing a career in ALL the surgical fields in Kenya. From Consultant, Resident, Medical Officer or medical student interested in pursuing a career in the surgical field.

KAWS is housed under the Surgical Society of Kenya SSK. We are a not for profit organization created for the women in surgery either as trainees or in profession dedicated to mentorship, networking, professional development, socioeconomic policy & giving back to the community.
