Los’s Story

I got fed up with living life as an overweight person. The weight gain started in middle school and by the time I hit college I looked like a busted can of biscuits. I tried several diets like Slim Fast, cardio, fruits/salads, and Subway with no long term success. Whatever weight I lost always managed to come back. After multiple attempts of dieting ending in failure, I simply gave up on the idea of losing weight.

It wasn’t until years later I met the love of my life, my now wife Kristina, that I began to find the desire to lose weight again. I simply struggled to keep up with her and her side of the family. In addition, we virtually stopped going out to places with people unless it involved sitting around eating and drinking because I would get tired easily. We didn’t go out I felt like my weight was killing our relationship and my chances for a happier life.

Despite the many changes I made to accommodate being overweight, I didn’t hit my breaking point until my weight started hurting my s*x life. My body could not keep up with my mind/desires. I was tired of making excuses for my weight and having that weight get in the way of the life I was craving to live. So I decided to start taking action to change my life.

At the beginning of 2017, I set out to lose the weight once more doing the only thing I thought made sense, bodybuilding. So I adopted a 7 day workout schedule along with a 6 meal per day eating plan. I managed to attain some success. I lost 50lbs! That success was short lived though as my weight loss stopped and even started to reverse. Not to mention, I didn’t feel any better than I did prior to losing the weight. I was still constipated, bloated, dealing with heartburn and popping allergy pills like crazy.
