How effective is hypnotherapy? Can it suppress emotional triggers? Hypnotherapy works by releasing the triggers. Patients who go through hypnotherapy are no longer triggered by it. There's no need to tap it away. This trigger could be anything, but they no longer see it as a reaction. Releasing that trigger means you are liberating your mind from it. You identify that you are triggered because you noticed it and are used to reacting to what you see. So, through hypnotherapy, you learn how to stop noticing the triggers, and when you do notice them, you no longer react like you used to.

Imagination is not only the uniquely human capacity to envision that which is not, and therefore the fount of all invention and innovation. In its arguably most transformative and revelatory capacity, it is the power that enables us to empathize with humans whose experiences we have never shared.â €

And many prefer not to exercise their imaginations at all. They choose to remain comfortably within the bounds of their own experience, never troubling to wonder how it would feel to have been born other than they are. They can refuse to hear screams or to peer inside cages; they can close their minds and hearts to any suffering that does not touch them personally; they can refuse to know.

Psychosomatic refers to the psyche or the mind, while somatic refers to the body. It explains the relationship between the body and mind and the experiences that shape us into who we are. All our experiences, emotions, and beliefs we acquire through experiences shape us into who we are: both mind and body. Our body language is more than just the posture we hold physically.

Kelly Love is a rewilding coach guiding you back to the truth of what your soul came here to do, be, and express through the body's wisdom. She uses transformative psychosomatic bodywork to help individuals achieve physical and emotional healing.

To have a happy and successful life, one needs harmony. Harmony is achieved when the mind, body, and spirit are aligned. Negative thinking breaks the mind, poor physical health poisons the body, and bad actions destroy the spirit. Everything has to be in alignment.

You can start by picking one and working on it. The easiest one to solve is the body, the physical aspects of your life. It is a good idea to tackle this first because you will physically see progress. By changing your diet and exercising, you will see your body change, your face will glow, your body will be stronger, and your gut will feel better. This will also show you that you really can attain what you want with the effort you put in.

All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” ~Buddha

You experience and create all kinds of different energies that affect how you feel and what you accomplish throughout your day. Some energies are powerful and easily recognizable, while others are more subtle and often only intuitively felt. I believe it is fair to say that everything is, in a sense, energy.

The things you say, the things you think, the things you do—even the things you don’t do—all produce energy that impacts you and the people around you. If you work on creating more positive energy, you’ll see improvements in your life and you’ll touch more lives than you thought possible.⠀

You can achieve everything you think of! Your mental health influences how you think, feel, and behave in daily life. It also affects your ability to cope with stress, overcome challenges and recover from life’s setbacks!

There are plenty of things you can do to take control of your mental health:

1. Reset your mind of everything negative in your life. The past must be forgotten because everyday is a new opportunity to make great things happen.

2. Never think anything negative again. It will seem hard at first so if you catch yourself being negative, simply remind yourself that you are conditioning yourself to be a thought master. Think of something empowering to focus on.

3. Focus on the future and all of the great outcomes that you desire. Keep giving yourself positive affirmations as much as you can.

4. Visualize everything that you want to do in your life. Your actions will come from your visualization as your thoughts become things.

5. Remind yourself that you don’t believe in failure any more. Failure is just a chance for you to begin again more intelligently. Win or learn, there is no failure.

There's no such thing as a perfect relationship. Many of us struggle to find a balance in our relationships, whether among family, friends, or significant others. But for a relationship to work, communication is the key. Being able to hear each other and communicate back and forth is essential. You and your partner will always figure it out even if conflicts arise because you communicate well. Couples who say they don't fight are not always authentic. Communicate allows you to figure out a solution to the problem. You can't just run from conflicts and expect things to be resolved without talking about them. Working together through it gives you and your partner strength as a unit. Besides communication, a relationship will also need trust and intimacy.

Aleksandra Zubek is a licensed professional counselor based out of Chicago with experience in relationship dynamics. We explored what a healthy relationship looks like, how to improve communication, and why some people always seem to find a toxic partner.

Benefits of drinking water.

• Helps Maximize physical performance
Dehydration leads to altered body temperature control, reduced motivation, and increased fatigue. It can also make exercise feel much more difficult, both physically and mentally. Optimal hydration can even reduce the oxidateve stress associated with intense physical activity.

• Improves energy levels and brain function
Mild dehydration can impair energy levels, impair mood, and lead to major reductions in memory and brain performance. Fluid loss of 1.6% was detrimental to working memory and increased feelings of anxiety and fatigue.

• Helps with headaches
Studies show that drinking water can decrease headaches in individuals that experience increased headaches. This is mainly due to the fact that the brain is less tolerable of dehydration than the rest of the body.

• Prevents constipation
Drinking plenty of water may helpe prevent and relieve constipation, especially in people who don’t drink enough water.

• Helps with weight loss
Studies are showing that increasing water intake can promote weight loss by slightly boosting your metabolism leading to an increase of calories burned.

No matter your opinion or feelings about it, it is true that any of us have the power to change the world. We are all equal; we all have the same amount of power rooted within us.

But I know that there are many people who think they don’t have the right amount of power, influence, or enough good ideas to change things in our crazy world. And the thing is, that these people are always right. Because as always, we become what we think; we create for ourselves what is in our minds.

But then there are those crazy people with the confidence and the great visions; the ones that are certain that they can change things and create things. These are the people who are called “go-getters,” ”innovators,” and sometimes even “fools.” But these are also the people who work tirelessly towards their dreams and make sure that their visions do come true. They’re the people who believe in themselves, who know what we are all capable of, but most of all what they are capable of themselves.

Now the question is: which person would you like to be? The choice is all yours. Your power simmers within, waiting to come to a rolling boil and feed the world.

I know there can be challenging and not-so-happy moments in life. You can’t change the past but you can change your attitude towards it.

Accept how it is and train your mind to see the good, especially in bad moments! Believe me, there is always something good, even if it’s only the fact that you learn from it. Keep your head up and stay positive!

Our gut is home to billions of bacteria. The food we eat directly affects our gut health and influences the production of neurotransmitters.

Ninety percent of serotonin receptors, our mood regulators that influence our biological and neurological processes such as aggression, anxiety, cognition, mood, and sleep, are located in the gut. So, for example, when we eat something sweet or sugary, it produces dopamine (the feel-good hormone) and serotonin (the happiness hormone). The neurotransmitters carry those chemicals to the brain, and we feel happy.

The same goes for other kinds of food. Foods can trigger physiological changes associated with emotions. Consuming hot food increases discomfort and sometimes even pain, whereas, foods high in caloric value can trigger positive moods, and consuming protein can improve motivation and concentration. Certain foods contain chemicals or ingredients that by nature trigger how parts of our bodies function, in some cases resulting in an increased heart rate or sweating due to a rise in body temperature.

Meditation is the process of re-centering our awareness on the principle of pure consciousness which is our essential being. We have lost awareness of our true Self through awareness of external objects, and become habituated–even addicted–to objective consciousness.

Rather than disperse our consciousness through objects that draw us outward, away from the center of our being, we can take an object that will have the opposite effect, present it to the mind, and reverse our consciousness. That object is the breath, which is the meeting place of body, mind, and spirit.

There’s no doubt that meditation is beneficial – but can you get results from just one session? Probably not. To receive the full benefits of meditation, you have to incorporate it into your daily life. It only takes a few minutes a day.

Soon enough you'll love emptying your thoughts, and meditation will become the best part of your day!

We have our physical bodies and a subtle energetic body about 4-5 feet outside the body. Studies show that our DNA strands also have the same type of energy surrounding them. These studies also found that our DNA contains the strands of genes that point to where our traumas came from and show if it came from your mother's or father's genetic line. What's more incredible is that through these studies, we now know that we are not here by accident. We are all here by intention and are all made of the same material. If we think about it and integrate it into our way of life or being, we can start to see things differently. We can also treat ourselves and others better. We can be more understanding and compassionate about each other and have that more profound sense of being there for one another.

Are you ready to shift to a higher level of consciousness? Conscious living helps inform your day-to-day decisions and influence how you experience life. Here are 9 major areas of conscious living.

1. Eating - Conscious eating is about knowing how the food you put into your body will affect you. By practicing conscious eating you'll not only control your eating and improve your digestion.

2. Drinking - What you put into your body really does make a difference. In fact, some of the most significant improvements to your health and vitality can be made via changing what you drink.

3. Healing and Medicating - When you consider that the majority of us rush to consume either over-the-counter or prescription drugs anytime something is remotely wrong with us then you'll see that how you react to pain and illness (whether minor or major) is an important part of conscious living.

4. Purchasing - Conscious purchasing is about being mindful of the impact which something you buy will have on you, on others, on the planet and on the purpose for which you're purchasing it.

5. Watching - This one is straight forward, be conscious of what you consume.

6. Reading - Conscious reading means being mindful of the effect that whatever you're reading will have on you and choosing those things that grow your mind or maintain your well-being over those that don't.

7. Connecting - Conscious connecting means that you're careful who you spend time connecting with online and what conversations you take part in.

8. Conversing - The people you associate, or communicate, with face-to-face are the most powerful people in your life and some of the most powerful forces in your life period.

9. Loving - Conscious loving is about being fully present to our loved ones. It's about paying attention to our loved one's needs and listening deeply to them.
