Yesterday, I had the privilege of being a guest speaker for the annual retreat. That morning, I took a nice long walk by myself – to get my head right and to relax. My presentation that day also talked about forms of managing stress and self-care, and of course, a solo walk was one of my bullet points. 😊

Remember this: self-care is simply any habit you utilize to refuel your tank. Doesn’t have to be fancy – just has to make you feel better than you were before 👍🏾❤️

This morning, my daughter asks “Mommy, can I do a workout with you?” So we did!

A hard truth I often tell my clients who are moms is “your kids can’t simultaneously be your ‘why’ AND your excuse”.
