Life is short. And at any moment of any given time our lives could be over without Any warning at all. We have to learn to live in the moment, in the here and now.. focus on being a better you, live the most beautiful fulfilled life you possibly can. I know for me, I have a lot weighing on me right now. I am ”grieving” the loss of someone I have held very close to my heart. When you have to make the most difficult decisions .. to keep trying or let go. When nobody understands, when they think you’re just running from your problems when YOU are the one whose Been facing them for so long. It can be mentally exhausting and destroying you inside. You have to decide when enough is enough. When you no longer feel loved, or valued. People don’t understand.. when you walk away from someone, often times it’s not just that one person you lose.. you lose people that are close to them, and you lose a piece of yourself in the process. I wish more than anything that I could change how our lives have turned out, I wish I knew how to mend what’s been broken . I am full of emotions. I am sad, I am scared. I Am trying to be strong. I have to believe that everything happens for a reason. i need to find myself. I need to find inner peace. I am going to focus on being a better version of myself, and my children will always be my number one priority. I’m in search of nothing but pure happiness. What is happiness ? Authentic happiness comes from within. It comes from making wise choices, including choosing to be happy. When our external situation is going well, it might make it easier for us to choose happiness, but it is not the cause of it. You can be happy even when things around you are nothing like you would like them to be. The key ingredients to achieving happiness are twofold, yet they are really two faces of the same coin: mental stillness and being present. When our minds are still, all is well.
