Even the wear and tear on the soles can also symbolize the experiences and challenges faced on one's journey of life. For some, the soles of moccasins serve as a reminder to walk gently on the earth and to be mindful of the path they're on."
It is through the making of the moccasin that helps us become anchored and walk in balance while we journey here on earth.
The creation of moccasins is a complex system of imagination and injinuity, weaving together the dream and spirit of the individual.
When a moccasins is traditionally handmade, So much time, energy, patience, learning and growth goes into this sacred creation. Even when made in circle, you have the wisdom and knowledge of the elders, helping and guiding in the creation of the moccasins. So much ancestral teachings passed down through the bloodlines... and even the teaching of the age old medicine of "laughter " comes in to this creation process ... ALL of these elements weave in together in the Alchemy and creation of the Soul!
