The “Grand Reopening” Initiative, Part 3 - Beyond Headlines

Why is it select authoritative figures keep believing, the distribution of mere medical products will benefit and make everyone happy once again? Why do they so heavily try to push, what for some youngsters could be interpreted as a mere agenda, instead of acknowledging and helping them with their actual issue?

Just because the mental effects of the lockdown situation among youngsters, doesn’t make as many headlines as other issues, doesn’t mean it’s any less serious…

The “Grand Reopening” Initiative, Part 2 - Set Aside

Can it really be, that merely since the world is slowly reopening, after 16 months and counting of restrictions and lockdowns, that everything is fully returning to a state of “normal”? Is it expected to suddenly just forget the darkness and uncertainty of the lockdown era? Is it expected everyone will be able to keep up, and that everyone will be happy once again? Many have been struggling with mental health given lockdown circumstances, and for those a simple reopening can be far from enough…

Forgotten Youth Project Plans & Goals - July 2021.

A main goal for the month, is to continually spread awareness about young people struggling with mental health, upon an era of lockdowns and restrictions, by gathering and sharing more stories. Do you have a story to tell? Share it by name or anonymously with forgottenyouth2020@gmail.com.

Forgotten Youth aims to join forces and collaborate with other projects, campaigns or organizations also advocating for mental health, in hopes of making a difference and reaching a larger demographic. This includes teaming up with The Ones Who Came Before / for a fundraising project dedicated to mental health. Interested in collaborating with Forgotten Youth? Feel free to send a direct message!

The “Grand Reopening” Initiative aims to look back and reflect on the full extent of damage caused by the lockdown era, as the world is slowly reopening and returning to a state of “normalcy”… From the looks of it.
