The next meeting of Diabetes UK Ilford and district takes place on July 3rd at 7.30 at Fulwell Cross library 140 High St, Ilford IG6 2EA. Kerry Whitmore will talk about Dental Outreach. Entry is £3 which includes refreshments. There will be a raffle and a table top sale.

the final Diabetis UK Ifford Meeting for 2024 will be on Thursday 5th December at 7.30pm in the Hainault Room at Fullwell Cross Library. We will resume on Thursday 6th Febrary 2025

Naila Haq will be coming to talk to us, she is a PHD student doing research into Diabetes, her talk is entitled ‘A new therapeutic for Type 1 Diabetes’.

t the November Diabetic Meeting will be on Thursday 7th November at 7.30pm in the Hainault Room at Fullwell Cross Library.

We do have 2 speakers this month, Glenda Templeman, Redbridge Falls Prevention Service Coordinator will be talking to us first

The second speaker is Rosie Frazer who comes to us from the Redbridge Clean Air Project which is an area that the Council are encouraging all to be involved with for a healthier environment.

The Ilford and District Diabetes Group will restart the meetings again at the Hainault Room, Fullwell Cross library on Thursday 5th September at 7.30p.m.
