In 2021/22,the number of workers reporting work-related stress, depression or anxiety in Great Britain was approximately 914,000 compared with 823,000 in the previous year.

That's an extra 91,000 people in one year with work-related stress.

In context, this means if you were to take all these people to Wembley Stadium there would still be 1000 people standing outside.

Dreams without goals are just dreams.

Monday’s here again, we've been enjoying the weekend and dreaming of a better place to be plus planning the better things we want for our lives.

Maybe there is a new job, a dream house car, maybe the dream is feeling more stable, maybe not having to fight physical or mental health every day. Maybe the dream involves family or a relationship. Every dream needs smaller actionable goals, smaller steps, and achievements to get you to the bigger picture.

Getting together and focusing on your dreams with some actionable goals will get you on the right path. On the road to your dreams, you will need discipline to stay on the path and the most important is consistency. Keep working consistently toward your dream every day, every week, to keep moving in the right direction all the time and consistency will achieve your dreams.

FRIDAY end of the week. It’s been tough. It's been busy, there has been ups and downs & there has been progress.

Make connections with your colleagues, staff, and friends you work with. Ask about their weekend, take the time to talk about life and have friendly and personal conversations to get to know the people around you, you may learn and understand more about them. Maybe they have a party, a funeral, maybe you can understand how they have felt this week, why they may be excited or nervous about the weekend.

These small conversations build support relationships in teams and help build positive connections.

Take a moment to process “Imagination is the preview of life’s coming attractions.”

This powerful statement says what we think could become reality. Consider it for a moment. Put this to your goals, your academic aims, or financial targets. Maybe you want to be recognised as the best at something you like to do, or you want to be the leader of a team or group, the team captain or run a huge project yourself. Or all of the above!

There is no difference in the success you desire: athletic, artistic, academic, monetary, or anything in between. The most important thing is how you think about yourself before you achieve your goal. The first step in achieving a goal is convincing yourself that you can do it. You will have accomplished the first step if you believe that you can succeed.

How was your weekend.

Make a post-weekend connection with your colleagues and team, something as simple as “How was your weekend, what did you get up to?”

Some people may have had an awesome weekend with family and friends at parties, some may have not had a great weekend, a family bereavement, a relationship breakup maybe they slipped into a mental health crisis.

Having seen the amazing results achieved through Hypnotherapy, CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) and NLP (Neurolinguistic programming) I wanted to help others grow, develop, and live their lives being happier and mentally stronger to succeed. Being part of the process makes me feel privileged to help others into a more fulfilling life and grow to excel in their expectations.

From my training with the Clifton Practice (CPHT), a world-renowned gold standard solution-focused hypnotherapy training facility. I currently hold the Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD). Along with my degree in Childhood studies and continued development in my own skills, seeing every person on their journey helps me to grow to help even more people.

Working with both children through to adults a solution-focused therapy session combining elements of CBT, NLP and hypnotherapy there are many different routes to help you find the right mindset to drive you forward.

Bank Holidays seem to go so quickly, the long weekend is again a memory and the workload ahead is present.

Looking forward as Dale Carnegie said, “An hour of planning can save you 10 hours of doing.” When the tasks are there waiting it seems unnatural to sit in a room and plan what we are going to do when time also seems scarce. However planning time makes the process much more efficient, smoother and also much less stressful.

Imagine if you and your team planned the coming days' work. Knowing what everyone is working on and their priorities. Wouldn’t this make the workplace a calmer, less stressful environment?

It’s a new week, a new start, a great week for us, as much as we help so many people on their own journeys, today marks the start of our sharing on social media. It's taken us some time but as we all know balancing work, life and family takes some balancing. Neither of us are big into social media so it’s a big step for us. And we have had a little help because everyone needs some support.
