Wise woman 🥰
I’m so fortunate in my job to meet so many people that teach me lessons in life… today I’ve had sessions with people that are living with cancer, anxiety about their partners, grieving a marriage breakdown, struggling with overwhelm from family commitments and work, and also with sheer exhaustion and fatigue.
What’s common to all of us, every single one of us, is that we are all suffering in some way. If not today then at some points in your life you can find yourself in deep suffering and questioning ‘why?’
But suffering is a normal part of living. Life is going to be very hard at times. We have to suffer and feel deep emotions of grief, sadness, doubt and anxieties, in order to also appreciate all the great things we ve had in our lives…. And the better times that we may have in the future.
We must also teach our children that we can’t stop them from suffering either, but to help them through loss and painful emotions. Each suffering experience leads to growth and if you try and take away their suffering, they won’t grow.
So sit with your child, your partner, your parent or work collegue. Offer your time and listen as they might talk. Just be there for people ❤️
