We recently attended a fundraising event in Shefford for HFT Bedfordshire who were raising funds for a defibrillator. Grateful thanks to you all - we had a fantastic time. And well done Teresa!!!!

We were Prince and Boy George!!!

On Saturday 14th June the staff, families and friends of Herald resource centre and 117 services in Bedfordshire came together to raise funds for a defibrillator to be purchased and placed on the property. The staff had felt it was something of importance to them. We sold tickets and were given many raffle prizes for the event, held a coffee morning which included a plant sale, and a charity car wash.

Teresa Mead Community fundraiser said “So many attended had dressed up and were very impressive, who would of thought that we have Axel Rose, Queen, Madonna, Debbie Harry, the 80’s ladies, Meatloaf, Ali G, Boy George , Prince and cast of Grease to name a few join us, what a turn out! Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and after having their pictures in the limelight, were up dancing all night.
Feedback has been fabulous, with all enjoying themselves, and the dance floor was busy! The staff and team at the STMA, were kind enough to support our event and gave us use of their hall. With wonderful donations from ACI training & Consultancy, Antony at the White Hart, Meisha crafts, Robert Bloomfield Lodge, Coop distribution centre and Shefford town council to name but a few, we are truly grateful. As always the families and staff supported us brilliantly, and this time was no exception! So a big THANK YOU to each and everyone who has helped, whether with volunteering, donations or attending the coffee morning or car wash. Your support has been amazing!
