IBD is an isolating, frustrating, exhausting, unpredictable, overwhelming, debilitating, annoying, and stressful disease. At present, there is no cure for IBD, and is considered an ongoing and life-long disease. Will the practice of Autohemotherapy (AHT) change all this?

Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) is a term for two conditions, Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis that are characterized by chronic inflammation of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. Prolonged inflammation results in damage to the GI tract leading to the disruption of natural processes such as the digesting of food, the absorption of nutrients and the elimination of waste products. Some people have periods of good health (remission) as well as times when symptoms are more active (relapses or flare-ups). Everyone is different: in many people the disease runs a benign course with few flare-ups, while other people may have more severe disease.

It's estimated that 1 in 5 people with ulcerative colitis have severe symptoms that do not improve with medicine. In these cases, surgery may be necessary to remove an inflamed section of large bowel (colon). Around 60 to 75% of people with Crohn's disease will need surgery to repair damage to their digestive system and treat complications of Crohn's disease. People with ulcerative colitis or Crohn's disease are also at increased risk of getting bowel cancer.

At present, treatment for IBD involves:

1. Surgery - 23 to 45 percent of people with ulcerative colitis and up to 75 percent of people with Crohn's disease will eventually require surgery. Some people with these conditions have the option to choose surgery, while for others, surgery is an absolute necessity due to complications of their disease.

2. Drugs
a) Immunosuppressants
b) Anti-inflammatory drugs
c) Other types of drugs – eg. Anti-diarrheals, pain relievers, iron supplements, Vit B12, calcium & Vit D supplements

Many of the immunosuppressant drugs have horrendous negative side effects. The list is extensive, everything from mild negative effects such as headache, fever, itchy skin to infections to cancer. Eg. Azasan -negative side effects include: a rare type of lymphoma (cancer) of the liver, spleen, and bone marrow that can be fatal. This has occurred mainly in teenagers and young men with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis; This medicine can harm an unborn baby; Azasan weakens your body's immune system; Common (1% to 10%): Cervical cancer, Kaposi's sarcoma, non-Hodgkin's lymphoma, squamous cell carcinoma of the skin, vulval cancer (renal homograft patients); The majority of reported cases of hepatosplenic T-cell lymphoma have bee in patients with Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, and were adolescent and young adult males.

Anti-inflammatory drugs, eg. Aminosalicylates- eg. Azulfidine, Asacol HD, Delzicol -some of the negative side effects are: anorexia, headache, nausea, vomiting, gastric distress, and reversible oligospermia, skin rash, pruritus, urticaria, fever, Hemolytic anemia, aplastic anemia, agranulocytosis, leukopenia, megaloblastic (macrocytic) anemia, purpura, thrombocytopenia, hypoprothrombinemia, methemoglobinemia, congenital neutropenia, and myelodysplastic syndrome, erythema multiforme (Stevens-Johnson syndrome), exfoliative dermatitis, epidermal necrolysis (Lyell's syndrome) with corneal damage, Guillian-Barre syndrome, peripheral neuropathy, mental depression, vertigo, hearing loss, insomnia, ataxia, hallucinations, tinnitus, and drowsiness, nephrosis with oliguria and anuria, nephritis, nephrotic syndrome, urinary tract infections, hematuria, crystalluria, proteinuria, and hemolytic-uremic syndrome.

3. Nutritional Therapy - Proper Diet - Your doctor may recommend a special diet given via a feeding tube (enteral nutrition) or nutrients injected into a vein (parenteral nutrition) to treat your Crohn's disease.
Your doctor may also recommend a low residue or low-fiber diet to reduce the risk of intestinal blockage if you have a narrowed bowel (stricture). A low residue diet is designed to reduce the size and number of your stools.

The exact cause of IBD is unknown, but IBD is the result of a defective immune system and affects millions of people worldwide. A properly functioning immune system attacks foreign organisms, such as viruses and bacteria, to protect the body. In IBD, the immune system responds incorrectly to environmental triggers, which causes inflammation of the gastrointestinal tract.

The mononuclear phagocytic system (MPS) is a part of the immune system that consists of phagocytic cells located just about everywhere in the body, the skin, lungs, intestine, brain, central nervous system, lymph nodes, spleen, bone marrow, blood, etc.

Élie Metchnikoff, who won the Nobel Prize 100 years ago for his description of phagocytosis, proposed that the key to immunity was to “stimulate the phagocytes”.

In Inflammatory Bowel Disease there is an imbalance of certain types of macrophages in the lining of the gastrointestinal tract. Macrophages are large phagocytic cells which are found in essentially all tissues, where they patrol for potential pathogens. Macrophages originate from the white blood cells known as monocytes which are produced by the bone marrow. Monocytes leave the blood circulation and enter the tissues where they differentiate into macrophages. They are a part of our immune system and are characterized by plasticity and versatility.

Basically, there are 2 types of macrophages. Macrophages that encourage inflammation are called M1 macrophages, whereas those that decrease inflammation and encourage tissue repair are called M2 macrophages.

In inflammatory diseases, like Crohn's, macrophages mediate the inflammatory destruction of the gut. Just how the tissue reacts (inflammation or suppression) is dependent on the type of macrophage cell present, and how it is stimulated. The imbalance of the macrophage types is related to a number of immunity-related diseases. For example, it has been shown that increased M1/M2 ratio correlates with development of inflammatory bowel disease, an immunodeficiency state, a lack of M2 macrophages.

AHT (without the use of ozone) stimulates your immune system (it does not overstimulate it) to produce monocytes from the bone marrow which help to replenish and maintain appropriately sized tissue-resident macrophage pools in the intestine (and elsewhere in the body). Due to their plasticity and versatility, these newly residential tissue macrophages will adapt to their local environment and perform their specific functions as either M1 or M2 macrophages depending what is required. This causes a reset by essentially balancing out the types of macrophages in the gastrointestinal tract (and elsewhere in the body) required for tissue homeostasis and immunity.

You did not always have IBD. Something happened along the way to cause an imbalance of these immune cells in your intestine. Now they want you to take drugs that actually suppress your immune system so that you cannot replenish and balance out the type of immune cells required to maintain proper immunity and health. It is not a suppression of the immune system that you want. What you want is something that will correct it, reset it, balance it out and that is exactly what AHT does.

Unfortunately, we will probably never see clinical trials done on AHT due to the fact that most are funded by the pharmaceutical companies and I don’t see them funding something that will put them out of business. Also, I hate to say it, but many physicians are so imbedded in the big pharma model of education and the big pharma model of what the solution is. That solution is typically a direct line from the disease, typically a virus or bug and then recommending a vaccine or some harsh chemical solution and most of this has to do with profiting the very big pharma companies. It will be up to us as individuals to move this therapy to the forefront and hopefully change the paradigm of medicine.

AHT is inexpensive, it can be done anywhere and anytime. You are in control and it will always be available to you. No one can own the patent on this and control its’ availability. This is a therapy that has been used successfully in treating people for over a hundred years. It may be a little more invasive than swallowing a pill, but there have been no recorded negative side effects, only positive ones.

After 10 yrs. I personally have had no negative side effects other than bruising or hitting a nerve once in awhile. I have experienced numerous positive side effects as have many other people I know that are practicing AHT. I have witnessed the healing properties of AHT in regards to Chron’s Disease, acne, psoriasis, arthritis, viral and bacterial infections, increased healing time of injuries and wounds, urticaria, relief from allergies and asthma, helps with depression, anxiety and stress just to list a few. We have only scratched the surface with what AHT is capable of doing. With an optimally running immune system, a lot of disease will disappear. You have nothing to lose by trying AHT and everything to gain. This therapy will benefit every body.

Sincerely,
Dale Lane

On average it takes almost 20 yrs for a vaccine to hit the market. Mankind has been hit with the Coronavirus several times during our history and no vaccine has been produced against it as yet, so to have one ready in 18 months does not sit too well with me.
In the USA, The Public Readiness and Emergency Preparedness Act (PREP Act) was enacted in 2005 and authorizes the Secretary of Health and Human Service to issue a “PREP Act Declaration” that provides immunity for claims for death, injury, damage to property or business losses brought against any entity or individual covered by a PREP Act Declaration. On March 10, 2020, the Department of Health and Human Services noted that the spread of COVID-19 constituted a public health emergency and issued a PREP Act Declaration effective as of February 4, 2020.
The PREP Act Declaration provides liability immunity to certain individuals and entities (for example, manufacturers, distributors and health care professionals) against any claim of loss caused by, arising out of, relating to, or resulting from the manufacture, distribution, administration, or use of medical countermeasures to treat, diagnose, cure, prevent or mitigate COVID-19. The declaration would not protect against claims involving “willful misconduct”. The declaration’s protections will be in place until October 1, 2024.
In other words, if injury or death occurs due to the vaccination against the Covid 19 virus the likelihood of anyone receiving compensation is pretty low.
Unlike the United States, Canada has not enacted federal legislation to provide liability protections to companies and individuals working to respond to COVID-19. The Canadian government has yet to invoke the federal Emergencies Act, which could provide some legislative protection against product liability for medical supply manufacturers. In particular, the Emergencies Act provides that no action or proceedings shall be instituted against any person providing services in good faith under the Emergencies Act. If a vaccine were to be produced it will have more than likely been manufactured in the US.
Autohemotherapy is a natural self-immunization therapy that resets your immune system and keeps it running at an optimal level to help fight disease. It has been used successfully to treat disease for over a 100 yrs. With the advent of antibiotics, and petroleum based pharmaceuticals, Autohemotherapy (AHT) fell by the wayside. There has been a resurgence of this therapy since the early part of the 21st century and hopefully it will make a full comeback in light of what is happening today. Unlike vaccines and other pharmaceutical drugs, there are no negative side effects from this therapy. It is inexpensive, you can do it yourself anytime and anywhere. No one can own the patent on this and control access to it, it will always be available!
I personally have been doing this for ten years and have only been sick once. I recovered very quickly from this particular flu bug while it took others months. One of the best decisions I ever made was to practice AHT, hopefully it will be yours too.

Sincerely,
Dale Lane

The negative psychological effects of the skin disease known as Acne can be profound and long-lasting. Acne is one of the most common disorders treated by dermatologists and other healthcare providers. Globally, acne ranks 8th in overall disease prevalence. More than 90 percent of world population is affected by acne at some point in their life

Treatment for acne at the moment includes:

•Combination therapy with a retinoid and a benzoyl peroxide–containing antimicrobial agent is used to control mild-to-severe inflammatory acne.

•For moderate-to-severe cases, an oral antibiotic agent is also recommended, with the duration of use being typically limited to 3 to 4 months. Once clinical improvement occurs, acne control is maintained with a topical retinoid. Benzoyl peroxide may also be continued if needed.

•Combined oral contraceptive therapy and spironolactone are effective hormonal therapies for inflammatory acne in female patients and may be considered in patients who do not have a response to topical therapies alone.

•In patients with severe nodulocystic acne or with acne that is unresponsive to combination therapy, the use of isotretinoin a teratogenic drug should be considered.

Let’s have a look at these treatments for acne:

1. Use of Benzoyl Peroxide:

Bromobenzene is the simplest member of the class of bromobenzenes, that is benzene in which a single hydrogen has been substituted by a bromine. It is then converted to Benzoyl Peroxide. There is sufficient evidence that Benzene is carcinogenic to man and is known to cause cancer. IARC (International Agency for Research on Cancer) classifies benzene as “carcinogenic to humans”. The link between benzene and cancer has largely focused on leukemia and other cancers of blood cells. Benzene causes acute myeloid leukemia (AML). IARC also notes that benzene exposure has been linked with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL), chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), multiple myeloma, and non-Hodgkin lymphoma. It is established that human exposure to commercial benzene or benzene-containing mixtures can cause damage to the haematopoietic system, a system that produces your white blood cells for immunity & red blood cells.

2. 3-4 months on an oral antibiotic:

a)Antibiotic resistance: of C. acnes is a worldwide problem, and rates of resistance increased from 20% in 1979 to 64% in 2000; rates for tetracyclines were lower compared with rates for clindamycin and erythromycin 50. A study of 664 patients in the UK, Spain, Italy, Greece, Sweden, and Hungary reported that the prevalence of C. acnes resistance rates ranged from 50.8% to 93.6% to any antibiotic (tetracycline, macrolide, lincosamide, and streptogramin B) and that all included dermatologists who specialized in treating acne were colonized with resistant Cutibacterium acnes.

b) Digestive problems: Issues with digestion are one of the most commonly reported side effects of taking antibiotics.
• nausea
• indigestion
• vomiting
• diarrhea
• bloating
• feeling of fullness
• loss of appetite
• stomach cramping or pain
• blood or mucus in stool
• severe diarrhea
• intense stomach cramping or pain
• fever
• uncontrollable vomiting

c) Fungal Infections: Antibiotics are designed to kill harmful bacteria. However, they sometimes kill the good bacteria that protect people from fungal infections.

d) Drug Interactions: Some common medications interact with certain antibiotics.

• blood thinners
• birth control medications (may only occur with rifamycins)
• antacids
• antihistamines
• multivitamins and some supplements, especially those high in zinc,
iron and calcium
• non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
• psoriasis medications
• rheumatoid arthritis medications
• diuretics
• antifungals
• diabetes medications
• muscle relaxants
• steroids
• Parkinson’s disease medications
• cyclosporine
• lithium
• retinoids and vitamin A supplements
• cholesterol medications, including statins
• migraine medications
• gout medications
• tricyclic antidepressants

e) Photosensitivity: Many types of antibiotics make the skin more sensitive to the sun (photosensitive)

f) Teeth and Bone staining: Some estimates suggest that 3 to 6 percent of the people who take tetracycline develop stains on their teeth enamel. The staining is irreversible in adults because their teeth do not regrow or change. Staining can also appear on some bones. However, bones are continuously remodeling themselves, so bone stains caused by antibiotics are typically reversible.

g) Ananphylaxis: In rare cases, antibiotics can cause an extremely severe allergic reaction.

h) Clostridium difficile - induced colitis: Clostridium difficile, or C. difficile, is a type of bacteria that can infect the large intestine and cause Clostridium difficile-induced colitis, an infection that causes intestinal inflammation and severe diarrhea.

i) Kidney failure: The kidneys are responsible for removing toxins, including medications, from the blood and body through urine. Antibiotics can overburden and damage the kidneys in people with kidney conditions.

3. Spironolactone: In 2011, the FDA added Stevens-Johnson syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis — two life-threatening skin disorders — to spironolactone's list of possible side effects.

4. Use of teratogenic drugs: a drug that can disturb the development of the embryo or fetus. Teratogens halt the pregnancy or produce a congenital malformation (a birth defect). Eg. Accutane, Sotret, Claravis, Amnesteem, Myorisan, Zenatane. Potential side effects include ulcerative colitis, an increased risk of depression and su***de, and severe birth defects.

5. Extraction of whiteheads and blackheads: Your doctor may use special tools to gently remove whiteheads and blackheads (comedos) that haven't cleared up with topical medications. This technique may cause scarring.

6. Steroid injection: Nodular and cystic lesions can be treated by injecting a steroid drug directly into them. This therapy has resulted in rapid improvement and decreased pain. Side effects may include thinning in the treated area.

There are five key factors leading to the pathogenesis of acne:

1.Increase of oily secretions (sebum) from small glands (sebaceous) in the
skin
2. Build up of dead skin cells within the hair follicle which can block the hair
follicle or clog the sebaceous glands
3. Colonization of the hair follicle with bacteria known as Cutibacterium
acnes
4. Inflammation
5. A weak immune system, an immune system that is not working at an optimal level

We know that Autohemotherapy has been used to successfully treat acne. It is proposed that AHT stimulates the production of monocytes from the bone marrow. These monocytes replenish numbers of Langerhan cells in the epidermis and Dendritic cells in the dermis of your skin that are lacking when your immune system is weak and not working optimally. An imbalance of immune cells in your skin can be caused by many things, UV radiation and drugs are just a couple of examples. AHT recalibrates your immune system bringing these cells back to a level that is normal for your body. In doing so, these cells are now able to do the job they were intended to do and that is keep your skin clear of bacteria, dead skin cells and excess oil.

What we do know is:

• every possible drug related treatment for acne has negative side effects, some of which you may not find out about until years down the road.

• Autohemotherapy does not have any negative side effects, other than a few bruises or hitting a nerve once in a while.

• Autohemotherapy has been successfully used to treat patients suffering from acne

Autohemotherapy should be used as a “first resort” not a “last resort”.

Our bodies are home to many of these microscopic, silent sentinels that continuously patrol every part of our anatomy, without them we would not survive and Autohemotherapy (AHT) helps to maintain healthy numbers of them.

This video shows a phagocytic (meaning to “eat” or “devour”) cell known as a Dendritic cell engulfing fungal spores. Dendritic cells are found in those tissues that are in contact with the external environment, such as the skin and the inner lining of the nose, lungs, stomach and intestines.

Phagocytes include many types of white blood cells such as neutrophils, monocytes, macrophages, mast cells, and dendritic cells. All these cells are produced by the bone marrow. These cells are part of the Mononuclear Phagocytic System (MPS) which is a part of the immune system that consists of phagocytic cells located in reticular connective tissue at strategic points in the body where microbial invasion or accumulation of foreign particles is likely to occur. They are essential for fighting infections with subsequent immunity and wound healing.

Of these phagocytic cells, monocytes circulate in the bloodstream for about 1-3 days and then move into tissues throughout the body where they change or differentiate into macrophages. Human macrophages are about 21 micrometres (0.00083 in) in diameter. Macrophages (meaning "big eaters") have the capability to move through tissues by producing pseudopods (meaning "false feet"). A pseudopod or pseudopodium is a temporary arm-like projection of the cell membrane that are developed in the direction of movement. This amoeboid action is the most common mode of locomotion in eukaryotic cells. It is a crawling-like type of movement accomplished by protrusion of cytoplasm of the cell involving the formation of pseudopodia. See video.

Recent work has shown that the size of tissue macrophage populations has an impact on tissue functions and is determined by the balance between replenishment and elimination. Tissue-resident macrophages are long lived and replenishment is mainly due to self-renewal, with a secondary contribution from blood monocytes. The available data suggest that developing and maintaining appropriately sized and physiologically beneficial tissue-resident macrophage pools has an impact on health. (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6115929/)

Élie Metchnikoff, who won the Nobel Prize 100 years ago for his description of phagocytosis, proposed that the key to immunity was to “stimulate the phagocytes”.

Autohemotherapy does just that, it stimulates the phagocytic cell known as the macrophage and helps maintain optimal tissue-resident macrophage pools.

A study done in Brazil in 2015 showed an increase of 17% - 250% in monocytes in the blood 24 hrs after a 10 ml injection of autologous blood gluteus maximus muscle and was concluded that autohemotherapy is a factor of increased immunity of the body. (https://www.cabdirect.org/cabdirect/abstract/20153412180)

So many drugs today affect an individual’s white blood cell count reducing them in numbers and effectiveness. How many times do you hear “may cause infection” as a side effect of these drugs and that is just one negative side effect! Autohemotherapy has no negative side effects only positive ones. Obviously more randomized clinical trials need to be done but the problem here is who is going to fund them? Certainly not the pharmaceutical companies! There is no money to be made with AHT, you can not own the patent for this. It may be just up to us to prove the beneficial properties of Autohemotherapy.

A 100 yr old therapy makes a comeback as a treatment for Covid19.

Doctors all over the world working at research facilities like those at John Hopkins are looking at a 100 yr old therapy in the hopes of helping people infected with Covid19 survive. Serum Therapy was well practiced before the advent of vaccines, antibiotics and pharmaceuticals and played an important role in the advancement of modern medicine.
When an individual becomes infected with the virus the body will try to fight it off by eventually producing antibodies. When antibodies toward the virus are detectable in the patient’s blood, they are said to have seroconverted. Blood is drawn from these patients and their serum containing the antibodies is then injected into other people who are suffering from the same infection. This gives the inoculated person passive immunity which helps them fight the infection. This protection can last from weeks to months. This was widely used during the 20th century to help stem outbreaks of measles, polio, mumps, and influenza. This process takes time and patients receiving this therapy are susceptible to certain negative side effects ie allergic reactions and contracting other viruses.
Autohemotherapy (AHT) has been around just as long if not longer and was used as an immediate self immunization therapy. This therapy has no negative side effects because it is the patients own blood. It will help stimulate and boost the individual’s immune system and if started early enough will hopefully prevent serious complications due to the virus.
If you are practicing AHT and you don’t have the virus you will be boosting your immune system to a point where it will be working at an optimal controlled level and should you get the virus your body will be better equipped to immediately fight it giving you active immunity in other words your immune system retain memory of this virus.
If you start practicing Autohemotherapy while you have the virus, AHT will help stimulate your immune system. It will “passively” augment the body’s own “actively”- generated antibodies and you will become better equipped to fight off the virus and your immune system will retain memory of this virus.
The reason this virus is so lethal is because our bodies have no memory of this virus, we have not been exposed to it before.
Autohemotherapy is easy, inexpensive, can be started immediately and you can do it in the privacy of your own home taking less than 5 minutes of your time. The science behind this therapy has been well documented and proven to be worthy of practice. I personally have been doing this for 10 yrs. and have only been sick once a few years ago with a flu bug that took the lives of thousands of people. I recuperated within a week’s time where it took others close to two months to recover. I continued with my AHT during my sickness injecting 1 ml of blood every 12 hrs. I do AHT for preventative reasons. I have experienced no negative side effects only numerous positive side effects.
I find it a little ironic that we are at a bit of a technological standstill with this Covid19 virus and we are having to revert back to a 100 yr old natural method for help. Maybe someone out there or up there is trying to tell us something!
If you know of anyone on the front lines, share this information with them.

Many non-governmental groups such as Doctors Without Borders also known as MSF ( Médecins Sans Frontières Canada) has called on the government to prevent pharmaceutical companies from profiteering on drugs, tests or vaccines used for the Covid-19 pandemic. The government needs to put measures in place to control prices, and ensure availability for everyone on this planet!

What is available to everyone on this planet now is Autohemotherapy (AHT). It costs next to nothing, and is safe. The vaccine for the Covid19 is a long way off and will come too late for many. At present, the best defence against this virus is the body’s own natural defense, its’ immune system. I realize the human body is not familiar with any of the covid19 viral antigens but this natural immunization technique, will help the body cope, potentially saving lives and quickening their recovery. Know, that this natural blood immunization therapy was used just for this purpose before the advent of antibiotics and pharmaceuticals and it worked! It is still being used today. Why are you not hearing about it, maybe because there is no great profit to be made with this therapy!

I have worked as a Medical Laboratory Technologist for 30 yrs and have been sick only once with a virus I picked up travelling to the United States. This virus killed thousands of people that year. When I was sick, I practiced AHT twice a day, injecting 1 ml of my own blood into my thigh muscle each time. (I could have even done it 3 times a day). I did this until I was feeling back to normal again which was about a week. The average down time for the majority of people with this flu was one month and even then, it would take another month for them to feel normal again. So, speaking for myself, this self immunization technique worked wonders for me. I have been practicing it for 10 yrs. Also, there have only been positive side effects to this therapy, no negative ones except a few bruises.

Hopefully doctors will put this therapy into place and give patients suffering from Covid19 or any patient suffering from disease a fighting chance. In many instances throughout the last 100 yrs. it was used as a “last resort” and it worked. We should now be using it as a “first resort”!

AHT’s attributes of safety, low cost, and immediate availability suggests a continuing potential utility against a broad spectrum of diseases, viral and bacterial; autoimmune; MS; Parkinsons and cancer as well as wound healing and other tissue injuries.

Sincerely,
Dale Lane
