French Onion Dip
No soup mix here! Rich caramelized onions and a splash of sherry are the secret to this flavor-packed dip.

Ingredients
2 tbsp. unsalted butter
3 large onions, thinly sliced
Kosher salt and pepper
1 tbsp. fresh thyme leaves
1/4 c. dry sherry wine
8 oz. crème fraiche
1/2 c. full-fat Greek yogurt
1 tbsp. grated lemon zest
1/4 c. chopped fresh chives
Baguette, sliced and toasted, for serving
Directions
SAVE RECIPE
Step 1
Melt butter in large skillet on medium-low. Add onions, season with 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp pepper, and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until tender, 8 to 10 minutes.
Step 2
Increase heat to medium and cook, stirring frequently, until deep golden brown, 30 to 40 minutes. (Add 1 to 2 Tbsp water if onions stick or pan browns). Stir in thyme and cook 1 minute. Stir in sherry and simmer until evaporated. Let cool.
Step 3
Mix in crème fraiche, yogurt, and lemon zest until smooth. Fold in all but 1 Tbsp chives. Let stand 30 minutes to let flavors meld before serving.
Step 4
Sprinkle with remaining chives and serve with toasted baguette.

Grilled Chicken Wings
These grilled wings with bourbon are perfect for entertaining.
Grilled chicken wings hit every note (both for party guests and for a quick family dinner): sweet, saucy, smoky, and just a little spicy. They’re the perfect easy option for backyard summer parties or weeknight comfort food cravings. Plus you can brush the apricot-bourbon glaze on pork chops, chicken, or salmon.

Ingredients
3/4 c. apricot preserves
3 tbsp. bourbon (we used Jack Daniels)
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
2 tbsp. low-sodium soy sauce
1/2 tbsp. sriracha, optional
2 1/3 lb. chicken wings, separated, tips discarded
Chopped scallions or cilantro, for serving
Directions
SAVE RECIPE
Step 1
In large bowl, whisk together apricot preserves, bourbon, lime juice, soy sauce, and sriracha (if using) until smooth and combined. Transfer 1/4 cup to small bowl and set aside.
Step 2
To sauce in large bowl, add chicken wings and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours and up to 4 hours.
Step 3
Heat grill to low. Place wings bone side down on grill and grill covered 10 min. Flip and continue grilling until cooked through, 10 to 15 minutes more. Toss with reserved sauce and serve sprinkled with chopped scallions or cilantro.

Delicata Squash Pizza
Make this hearty pie for Meatless Monday.
Two cheeses combine with beautiful slices of delicata squash on this white pizza with no tomato in sight.

Ingredients
All-purpose flour and cornmeal (optional), for sprinkling
1 lb. pizza dough, thawed if frozen and at room temperature 30 minutes
6 thin slices provolone
1 small delicata squash, halved lengthwise, seeded and sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 onion, sliced
1 large Fresno chile, thinly sliced
2 tbsp. olive oil
Kosher salt and pepper
1/2 c. flat-leaf parsley leaves
1 1/2 oz. blue cheese, crumbled
Directions
SAVE RECIPE
Step 1
Heat oven to 500°F without broiling (alternatively, heat to 475°F).
Step 2
On lightly floured surface, shape pizza dough into 14-inch-long oval. Place on cornmeal-dusted
or parchment-lined baking sheet. Arrange provolone on top.
Step 3
In large bowl, toss squash, onion and chile with oil and 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/4 teaspoon pepper; fold in parsley.
Step 4
Scatter over dough and sprinkle with blue cheese. Bake until crust is golden brown and squash is just tender, 10 to 12 minutes.
