Happy Tuesday beautiful souls! 👩‍🍳Be sure to sign up for my cook along happing Monday March 28th, 6:45pm. 🍉There are many ways to change up the presentation of food, which means there are many ways to add more fruits and vegetables into your meals. Simmer peppers until they're soft for a rich pasta sauce. Throw a handful of spinach or micro greens into a morning smoothie. If your not a fan of cooked onions but don't mind raw onions, toss them in your salads. Not a fan of the texture of fresh bananas? 🍌Freeze them and blend them into your protein shake ir make frozen treat you adding coco nibs. Often these additions add little to no texture and no distinguishable flavor. While this method does require a bit of trial and error, it quickly becomes second nature and is a great way to enjoy more benefits of this food group.🫐

We generally know which fruits and vegetables we like and which we would rather pass on by the time we are adults. You may feel adventurous and try something new occasionally, but finding small tricks like this to fit in nutrient-dense foods in places you may not have thought to will help add some vitamins and minerals to every bite. I got some amazing veggies this weekend and will be making all sorts of dishes with them and adding to some of my favorite recipes to change things up. Sunday FunDay Adventures, Bike ride to AB farmers market, plants from The Plant 🌱 ranch and gardening! I love to garden and grow my own food (see my stories for lunch) Today I planted Charleston watermelon🍉, squash, eggplant🍆 habanero and datil 🌶 peppers, beefsteak tomato’s🍅 pineapple🍍 sage, Florence fennel, a pink lemonade blueberry bush 🫐 and flowers. 🌻🌼🌸🌺🌹🌷🪴🌱
